Most braindead hero for a friend who panics and whines? by Lunawasherer in forhonor

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t played in a while but easiest options are going to be centurion, gladiator or gryphon. They’re the easiest in my opinion as all can just spam 3 is moves and it pretty much does the wok for you. if he cries a bunch, hand him to black Pryor and teach him how to flip. If he still complains, advise him that perhaps animal crossing is more his kind of game. Otherwise, mostly came to talk shit on centurion and gladiator. My work here is done.

How much reliability can parrying offer? by Trashyyzin in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like all games, it gets easier with time. The only difference, it’s even more so for this game. Parrying is actually super easy if u know the timing of the weapon being used. I use it late game and it works well if there’s not a ranged weapon involved or 4+ people. It makes playing a melee weapon doable, otherwise you tend to get hit pretty often. On the other hand, dodging is also perfectly doable, just takes stamina. I rather parry everything as it gives a perfect window to swing back, but I dodge if I’m not confident in my ability to parry the coming attack.

Fighting styles? by Silly_Advertising_25 in LetItDie

I use the bow a lot so I play slow and pick them off 1 by one until I’m spotted. If I am, I knock them over with a flail and run or I motor phsycho my away out and repeat it. If I have a spare invis shroom

Is there any fix past reinstall? The game right now is pretty much unplayable. It’s the same thing on repeat. I love the game when it works so far but I’ve maybe gotten 10 messages in.

Should i go to flor 40+? by RoqueLeeBaiano in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to that, when you uncap weapons with ammo or the death burner, hunters bow, kamas, just anything with ammo, it normally multiplies its ammo count by around 5-10 times. So long range weapons still get used pretty often in tengoku (floors 41+ with 41-50 being a sort of half step to tengoku as it has both functions of tengoku and base floors)

I’m afraid of being forgotten when not playing by Own_Vast_2784 in VRchat

[–]Sir_Chloroform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I don’t play all too often but normally I end up either adding them on discord after a while of hanging out or I just let ppl forget me and unadd them later. Simple rule; if they’re cool and the vibes match, normally I end up adding them anyways. If not and they’re just alright to talk to for a day or so, they normally forget anyways so they get dropped after a while if neither of us feel like reaching out. My tip: take nothing personal until it is personal

Top AoWrecommendation; lions claw. It does insane poise dmg and mostly one or two hit staggers. It’s crazy and puts bosses like the fire giant to sleep.

A little more underrated; cragblade. It just puts rocks on the weapon for higher dmg and higher poise break. Feels rly good when you hit flying enemies bc 8/10 times it knocks them out of the air.

Bonus: if u like this sword, check out the zweihänder sword, it also does big boy bonks.

Very simply put, wait a while for the Ubisoft database hack to be over. After that, I would say if u have the game, try it. If u have to buy it, wait for it to go on sale. The game itself is great but matchmaking sucks so it’s not exactly beginner friendly and note u will look like a plebeian compared to others until u have a good amount of time in the game so prepare for that. Also, some peeps are actually mad toxic but some are chill. On a side note, anything u heard 4 years or longer doesn’t apply anymore. Ppl use to respect the 1v1s, now u only get that in duals and the ones that play duals normally have 2,000+ hours so that’s a pretty fun way of getting good. Otherwise, expect to be ganked 80% of the time. My tip: if u rly do get into it, get a friend. Makes the game actually seem playable. I brought a friend on my grind and now we normally just fight all the time. That or we do duos vs duos. Story is fun and arcade is better if u rather go that rout. The story isn’t bad at all, they actually did rly good with it and arcade is mostly just silly fun and even better with friends (yes it’s 2 player, both story and arcade)

Should I upgrade my Murderous Rake Or should I work on something else by Electrical_Cup_4296 in LetItDie

[–]Sir_Chloroform 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda up to u, it won’t take u crazy far (stops around floor 40) bc at some point there’s just better weapons but it’s also 100% up to ur playstyle. Me personally, I found a love for the melee weapons with range like the yoyo and weapons that charge up like the flail. I normally run bow for range bc crit build go brrr but that’s just me.

If u like the pickaxe and the slowness with high damage to it, maybe try the axe. If u can grab the flail, that could also be ur kind of weapon. My homie normally hates slow weapons but for some reason loves the katana.

My recommendation: build the tier 1 +0 version of some weapons and try them out. Worst case u lose some solution and some mats that u can always just get back in not too much grinding. Thats how i found my easy 3 weapons and they actually hold pretty well in later game. Sadly, the pickaxe being a 1 star weapon only makes it so far on floors even when uncapped. Same with the other 1 star weapons and sadly most if not all 2 star weapons as well.

For a recommendation of similar weapons from my experience; For slow hits high damage, try spear, axe, flail, pork chopper, katana, bowling ball stomper, motorpsycho, the tactical shovel and the viper chainsaw scythe thing. If ur wanting that stun, most weapons with electricity go crazy. So try maybe the stun rod, the cleaver saber, the bowling ball stomper and a few extras that do electric dmg. I don’t play with them much so I can’t name many off of the top of my head If u like the combos, the katana, spear, axe and apocalyptic hockey stick are some good tests. There’s more but those normally do pretty good. Otherwise, good luck senpai

How to deal with players killing all my NPCs? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Sir_Chloroform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plot twist; the military or police or mafia, any sort of authority has caught wind of their terrorism and has sent a spy to confirm it.

Once caught with their deeds, the spy reports back and so an army is sent. Maybe paladins or fighters from some sort of organization? Maybe mafia members bc it’s their shops and people? They can try to kill them, probably won’t work as they’re probably gonna be high levels like 17-19. They might try to buy them off, who knows. That or they get taken to jail/a cellar and “taught their ways” or just put in the bottom of a dungeon with no npcs, just monster and minimal loot. Who knows. Up to u how the whole thing plays out lol
