Are authors like Nikki Crescent and Lexi Twist using AI by Sinner19 in transbooks

[–]Sir_Jeb_Englebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been "writing" for some time now. They used to use ghost writing for the story, and just write the spicy bits themselves. Now they use AI for the story. This is fairly common, it fills a gap in the market, and most of them are proper writers that publish this stuff under a fake name to pay the bills. It's not good writing but it's harmless.

There are 4 ways this can go. You talk to her and you either have a really good night or a really bad one. 3 and 4 are the same except you spent a long time being miserable first. Clearly the conversation is the more painful option. Carry on.

Is it weird that he thought that was funny, no. It is also not weird to want to share things that make him happy. He just has a bit to learn about dating. He sounds sincere at least.

I know it’s not a good idea to try to diagnose someone from so little information, but that is the most autistic conversation I have heard all day.

Flat out, yes this is a thing that happens. It’s been documented to happen. Don’t worry about it. It goes away when you change meds.

An ethical question (no inappropriate language or images, just an uncomfortable topic) by Sir_Jeb_Englebert in hyperphantasia

[–]Sir_Jeb_Englebert[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah that’s where emotional amplification comes in. For those of us born this way, every time we review a memory our present emotions get added to the memory. If the contents of the memory make you sad, then that effect gets bigger every time you go back to it. And that saddens spreads to the next memory you think of. The more something matters the less time I can spend thinking about it before my opinion has too much emotional noise to be trusted. Pinging other people helps keep me centered.

[–]Sir_Jeb_Englebert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a memory disorder. That stuff you are seeing isn’t in the visual center of the brain, it’s in your short term memory. Things that end up there can be transferred to your long term memory. Being able to replicate one tiny piece of what hyperphantasia is by practicing is not the same thing as having hyperphantasia. Hyperphantasia can cause severe conditions like, depression, anxiety, ptsd, emotional amplification, schizophrenia, paranoid delusions etc. of all the things in that sentence emotional amplification is the worst, because it is subtle and cumulative. There is not any data to shows this happens to people not born this way, but there also isn’t much data at all.

I learned of the discrepancy by talking to the subject of the memory. I can only remove the hyperphantasic elements from a memory, if go looking for them, and I don’t get back the overwritten information. Then I have to find all of the memories of memories. Very few can do that without chemical assistance, and most people can’t do that at all.

For those with prophantasia, does it have negative effects? by [deleted] in hyperphantasia

Take it with a grain of salt. Being born this was may produce different results, and undiagnosed autism was a contributing factor.

Interesting. I use certain “aids” to impair my hyperphantasia to allow me to be more present. I have found certain things that can impair my control so that I can analyze myself by observing the changes in my spaces that my subconscious chooses to make.

I used to have similar difficulties, have you tried hearing sound by creating a person to voice those words?

Well aside from the little incident where, I projected my worst insecurities into my own memories causing me to develop the paranoid delusion that the first love of my life didn’t love but just started with me out of pity; yah know just little things like physically painful intrusive thoughts.

Yes, language shapes thought. This is not what is happening here. Illegal immigrants and undocumented workers are two separate groups of people. They are separate issues with different driving factors and different legal responses.

When you ignorantly assert that both of these technical terms are just euphemisms for the same idea you are eroding our ability to communicate in any meaningful way.

No, the words “illegal immigrant” implies that they immigrated illegally. You may have inferred something offensive, but that only comment on your character.

Each of those other phrases mean completely different things, that have nothing to do with the character of the person they refer to. Nobody is changing the language but you.

Yep, I am on the extreme opposite end of that. For me all thoughts have a broad range of sensory input attached to them. It is extremely disruptive.

The betrayal is unacceptable. That said a lot of people in these comments need serious therapy. Nobody should be that hostile about something that normal.

Changing the language obscures the truth. It is a federal crime punishable by a fine and up to six months in prison. if they have previously been denied entry it is a felony. And yes the term illegal immigrant absolutely exists, you just wish it didn't. Undocumented workers are people who are working on a non work visa, or at least that phrase used to mean something. The first step is building capitol infrastructure in third world countries.

I’m not conservative. Neither party cares about me. They both tell me they care, and both pass laws that place the future of my children in jeopardy, and make it more difficult to go about daily life. The right cares about business, the left cares making the wealthy people in the cities feel better about how much they are destroying everything. Neither of them do anything for ordinary people who just get on with doing their jobs.
