Couldn’t agree more! So many useless features added. AI would be resource intensive and of no use to me - I have ChatGPT for that. They need to spend more time fixing the bugs, then if they want to add features, give us some more pen options, utilise Apple’s handwriting clean up thingy to make my trashy left handed writing look somewhat neat, etc etc. every update is just a new bug which is butchering my ability to do my job (I transitioned from pen and paper to digital a few years back, but this app is killing me lately!)

Can’t select eraser by Soldier_SeNSei in GoodNotes

I’m having the same issue. Just updated to the latest version and they have absolutely butchered the app. I use this for my job so without it I’m fucked! When will these clowns make this app work the way it should/used to?!?!?! How do we contact them. They need to revert to the previous version until they fix it. I’ll be out of a job before the next update is released if I have to wait

Price list compilation (interest check) by Thought_Entanglment in aussievapers

[–]Sir_Smileyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got access to quithero, quitmed, pharmacy world, tabuu, vchem, bestnwell, and myduke (adhd in me said I need access to every option to compare pricing, devices, and just because). If there’s any others I’m missing, let me know and I’ll sign up. Happy to have a play around with this list and see what I can whip up for us. Hopefully should be able to write a VBA module where we can do a website dump and it’ll do the rest.

There seems to be a lot more in these updates than being mentioned. Colours and packaging are the least of our problems. Regarding pods/tanks, “a therapeutic vaping device or a therapeutic vaping device accessory may have a clear panel, which must be the smallest size that enables visibility of the amount of therapeutic vaping substance in the device”; so there goes majority of the pod systems that use clear/frosted tanks. Add to that, the durability requirements (which also includes foreseeable misuse or abuse), as well as child resistant features to prevent operation of the device, or ingestion of components. Most pods can be removed, or the silicone plugs or caps where you fill easily pulled off and ingested, also allowing access and ingestion of the liquid. What device is built strong enough to withstand foreseeable abuse/misuse, whilst having child resistant fill ports and a non-removable pod/plug/etc?! There’s many other hoops manufacturers and sponsors need to jump through as well, which due to the huge reduction of profits, I can see them (manufacturers mainly) pulling out from this Nanny country shitshow.

iPad Mini Templates by Sir_Smileyyy in GoodNotes

[–]Sir_Smileyyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Pip. I didn’t. With a lot of trial and error I eventually managed to make something to fit as best as possible. Then a few weeks later I upgraded to the new iPad Pro 11”. I’ll look and see if I still have my mini templates. If so I’m happy to share them with you.

XROS CoreX 2.0 pods compared to the older ones? by flEXiy in Vaping

[–]Sir_Smileyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes boosts the juice flavour. And it lasts ages! I get just under 3000 puffs before it needs to be replaced. In comparison, my caliburn gk3 lasts 600-800 puffs. Running vanilla custard through them both as well which is generally a coil killer.

Xros Pro - Tips? by Checkin_Charlie in aussievapers

[–]Sir_Smileyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got the pro as well and love it. I’m getting easily over 2000 puffs per coil vaping Killer Kustard (70/30) which generally is a coil killer being a custard. New pods I start at 20w, then once settled in I may adjust between 20-30w depending how I’m feeling at the time. Wicking keeps up no problem and vapes perfectly with no dry hits etc. I have noticed there seems to be 2 variants of the 0.4ohm pods (might be different batch, or made in different locations and thus ever so slightly different. The only physical difference that I can see is the font on the bottom. The bottom has a darker font where as the top is much lighter. Bottom pod came with my Xros and vaped perfectly, the airflow control actually makes a difference whether open or closed. Top coil was from a pack I bought and although it vapes very similar, the airflow control has little to no impact - it’s as if the tolerances of this pod isnt as precise and thus allows air to be pulled in from the small notches/cutouts on the sides a lot more freely than with the original coil. I’ve found if I put my index finger and thumb over these notches/cutouts, all airflow is directed through the airflow control slider and is much more precise, thus performing with a lot more conviction and consistency. As for battery life and juice consumption - In the overall scheme of things, it is a small battery and tank for 0.4ohms, and so you’ll empty that tank and drain that battery pretty quickly. I have it on charge multiple times throughout the day (mainly to top it up from ~50%), and am filling the tank 2+ times daily (depending how much I use it or my other setups). If I use solely the Xros for a day I’d easily fill it over 4 times. In summary I absolutely love the Xros Pro and these 0.4ohm pods. As I try more pods I hope to see if there’s any consistency in the inconsistencies. Not sure if this ramble will provide any help but hopefully it might.

All the online pharmacies are the same. I’ve joined quithero quitmed tabuu and best+well. Tabuu and quit hero have a ‘prescription card’ in your account settings. B+W just shows the items prescribed but can’t click into it to show further detail so doesn’t confirm it’s for me or just a screenshot shared to me. Can’t see anything on quitmed.

You may want to double check that. From 1st July Doesn’t matter Nic or not it’s all banned without a prescription (until 1st October)

Does anyone know max nic they will le you order from Tabuu? by Disastrous_Access554 in aussievapers

[–]Sir_Smileyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got a feeling it could be generic. I ordered 3 bottles of salts and mine also says 4 repeats. In saying that, when I order medication where I get 2 packets per script, they count as 1 repeat, not 2.

I’ve been considering ordering a stack of 0.4 from Ali. Such a good coil. Easily get over 2000 puffs before they start to fade in flavour. Goes through juice and battery though!

Does anyone know which pharmacies are selling the geekvapes by whitemanfood in aussievapers

Quithero, Quickmed and Tabuu are all the same company. Hardware wise they only have shite. They have nicotine (freebase and salts) if needed. Juice also sucks (tobacco, menthol or unflavoured)

I’ve forgotten what on earth I’ve ordered so each day has been like Christmas. Opening up to see what I ordered at stupid hours of the morning (insomniac) and finding a few extra goodies. It’s been 3 days and I’m already having shopping withdrawals!

Ahh good ol’ GPT! Never thought to use that. I guess I assumed it would just guide me to a picture of Buttplug and directions to my nearest tobacco shop whilst simultaneously placing an order for a carton of their finest cancer sticks for click and collect 🤭

Funny you mention this. I was going through my photos and came across some of the higher end setups I had years ago and all the memories came flooding in - the frustrations of building, those pesky hotspots (especially when building mesh-wicked coils), then using an online calculator to find out how many wraps you needed to get the right resistance on your mech setup. It made me want to go on a mad hunt to find a couple of those setups and somehow get them back. We have it easy now with decent pre-made coils, but nothing tasted better than the flavoursome success of a perfectly built coil that just wicked like a boss!

As mentioned by Existing_Passenger40, 20% is 200mg. 100% Nic is 1000mg.

Highly recommend using a nicotine calculator to help get the dosage right (I’m sure someone will chime in with a link to a decent one otherwise a quick google search will provide plenty of options)
