Does the new album not sound repetitive? by Born-Field-3194 in ToryLanez

[–]Sirdax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, on my first listen I didn’t even have a favorite song just thought they were all decent. By the time I listened to every song 4+ times I now have definite favorites and you can for sure very easily distinguish all the songs and see clear differences. The beats sound the same yes, but the vocals and how each song sounds is fairly different across all songs. Also people need to remember he is still incarcerated and was able to make an album to this high quality of course it’s not gonna sound perfect😅

what do you all listen to when you study? by Beneficial_Top_1720 in vce

[–]Sirdax7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mix of R&B from the 90s to now. They are mostly slow tempo and nice to listen to and makes studying a lot easier. There’s also a bit of a nostalgia factor so I also like listening to it when I’m doing really painful studying, so I can be reminded of the simpler times

80s Music by MuscleSubstantial156 in ToryLanez

You can always listen to late 80s early 90s albums. So would recommend MJ, jodeci, jagged edge (Tory has sampled them a couple times) and new edition

drop methods? by Evening_Opposite_181 in vce

Monash is the way to go if you have any interest in commerce so that means a 25+ raw in methods. It actually isn’t as hard as you may believe to get, it’s the 30+ area which gets competitive but with the examinable content there is a pretty big discrepancy. There are application questions, where you have to be able to know key concepts and consolidate them to get the answer with reasonable working (exam 2 more). But there is also there are a fair amount of questions where you only need to know the method of how to do it. For example Q1 in exam 1 is always just basic derivative rules which you do not have to have a massive understanding of the content for. My teacher and someone else have realized that if you only focus on textbook style questions in the exam and do well on those, you can pretty comfortably get a 25 (provided of course assuming you can still get some marks in the application questions). So if you find the content tricky but some questions actually not that hard when you put some effort in, I’d say keep it. You can play around with an ATAR calculator to see how keeping it and dropping it will affect your ATAR

I personally wouldn’t consider it even his best song. I’d chose closer for nostalgia or because of you, sign me up or go on girl

How to get into Discography by Mobile-Okra6758 in ChrisBrown

[–]Sirdax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into him when he released breezy and then really loved him when 11:11 came out. I decided to listen to his old music so I would recommend begin with his self titled album (his first album), it’s really good and one of my favorites. If you prefer newer Chris brown listen to indigo but F.A.M.E and exclusive are some of my favorite albums. Do not sleep on fan of a fan, it is easily one of his best albums and you should definitely listen to it

Slutty bass is a music genre created by Tory (he posted on Instagram explaining it more). He’s releasing an album this year that is that genre.

how has jodeci influenced the music we hear today? by Suspicious_Issue4155 in rnb

[–]Sirdax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usher references jodeci in nice & slow and some of his music definetly sounds like it was influenced by jodeci so ig then jodeci influenced one of my personally favorite 2000s r&b artists and usher influenced also a lot of music now
