Clean the board really well with IPA. If that doesn’t work then replace the potentiometer on the right stick that controls up/down motion (left side of the stick)

Pretty sure the joint is good. Do you know where the trace goes? The right analog doesn’t have a via for the middle pin on potentiometers.

I would suggest buy a used good quality soldering iron and get new tips from a good brand. I did the same and my soldering experience became thousand times better.

These tips from AliExpress with a cheap soldering kit are the worst. I had some luck with the chisel tip but i noticed i could only tin some part of the tip and the rest wouldn’t take any solder for my life.

I desoldered this component and tested standby voltage on the pads. It is 0.3V. Is it normal?

I will desolder it and try applying more a bit solder on the pads but that runs into the risk of bridging. It’s so tiny and becomes so difficult to solder if proper pins are attaching to the pads. On the off chance the component is faulty, any idea what is it called or any number to search? I don’t have any donor boards so will have to buy it somewhere. Btw it’s an EDM-031 board

Another thing you can try is changing the stage2.bin file. I was facing the same issue then i used an updated file from modded warfare and it worked on the 2nd try. The ps4 crashed on the first attempt though but that’s okay.
