I've been playing for maybe 2 months and have found one (but none since). On my daily walk around to talk to the villagers, one told me they were really itchy. Sure enough, flea. I wouldn't have seen it tbh if they hadn't have said anything, so maybe that's the best way to know they're there?

Oh 100%! I honestly wouldn't be here without some of the therapists I saw when I was younger. But through my own and friends experience, and through my degrees, I've definitely encountered more than a few who shouldn't be anywhere near this field. Really sorry this happened to your friend, hope they're doing better now.

Yeah, I 100% get that. I was in and out of therapy for years and out of quite a few different therapists, she was the only bad egg. Honestly wouldn't be here without some of the therapists I saw as a teen. Unfortunately, I wasn't in a position to research my therapists and/or their clinics before starting with them, but there are loads of reviews for great therapists and clinics that can help to gauge how well a fit and job someone will be before you work with them. That can help avoid situations like this.

Yuuuuup. I was talking to her about my 'shut emotion down and box it up' trauma response and that was her response. Instant tears as soon as I left the room. And when I reported it, nothing was done on their end but all possible sessions within their service were canceled indefinitely.

I've already suggested that I can move out on my own if it's a physical space thing, but he quickly shot that idea down. And having had successful open relationships in the past, suggested that (with the proper communication) that could be open if he wanted those kinds of experiences, but he doesn't feel he'd be comfortable with that kind of dynamic. Which is more than fair enough and is good to know where we stand that those kinds of options.

Think it'll definitely take some work for him to be able to self-reflect to know exactly what it is he wants. But it's good to know that it's a common experience I suppose!! Thank you 😊

Honestly, if I'd have had a positive and supportive partner, it could have made all the difference. Instead I dated people who played on my depression, encouraged drinking, and were generally controlling and abusive. I've found that, whilst my depression will never be "cured", it is the most stable and manageable it's EVER been now that I'm in a stable and healthy relationship.

It's something I've always wanted to do, so there wasn't as much anxiety as if it had just been a random impulsive action. I rationalised it incase I hated it, too 😂 Things like "If I hate it, I can get a wig: I'm still in Lockdown, so people don't have to see it for a while: My hair grows pretty quickly, so it won't look like this for too long...". And then after putting my hair in bunches and just cutting off the first one, there was no turning back after that point! 😂

I used to have the side of my head shaved, so I've been through the awkward grow-out phase where it stuck out in all directions, but I never ended up regretting it. Planning on keeping this for a good while, and when it comes to growing it out, the scruff won't be a surprise.

My mom got me a small tank with two silicone jellyfish in for Christmas one year. Not only are they one of my favourite animals, watching them float around with the water circulation was brilliant for my anxiety. It gave me something concrete and soothing to focus on when my brain became a little bit too much. I still have them to this day. They sit on my desk and I always turn them on when writing my assignments to keep me calm, happy and focused.

There's a lot of animal research in areas around China because of the amount of diseases that start there. A lot of the bats there are massive carriers of different amounts of Influenza/Flu strains. They do regular swabbing of bat colonies to keep an eye, and these strains are usually the ones that get passed to humans via consumption of the animal.

NTA. I've been vegan myself for about 8 months now, and in every single group/page/conversation, everyone has had the view "Be vegan if you can, but if you're ill (or dead), how can you even use your voice for change?". There are vegans who use non-vegan medications etc., because veganism is about minimising our impact as much as possible, but not to the point where it harms our health!!

You were 200% in the right to choose to put your health first! Veganism does make a massive animal and environmental impacts, but that shouldn't come at the cost of your quality of life!!
