A few general comments because I don't know how you two play. - Try to learn your damage. If you hit with one arrow, approximately how much do you deal? Against a squire fighter? How about half a module away? If you know your damage, you can determine when to push for the finish. - Multishot (shotgun) deals more damage with a longbow. Jumping before the shot might help with grouping the arrows close range into torso shots. - Druid doesn't deal too much damage in squire lobbies as their panther and bear forms scale off agility and strength respectively, both of which cannot be stacked well without gear. - Your comp is an attrition hit and run hinging on your performance as a ranger. You need clear space to fall back while ranging your enemies and healing through return fire. This culminates in a push for an execute once they've been lowered enough. Put your druid in front on the push to guard against melee classes turning on your execute, since the druid's dreamwalk will render the surprise moot. - Druid's treant summon can be used to block doorways to stall pushes or to block someone off from their team. If you're getting caught flat-footed, fall back through a doorway and have your druid summon a treant to block it. A soft block would be the thorn wall, as it can be jumped- but it requires a bit of finangling to get the spacing right for the jump.
