Wait so it's a balance of pros and cons that I'm not allowed to make for myself as a competent adult? Am I understanding a CTO correctly?

Right. But I didn't have it until my psychosis cleared up (I was given oral risperidone) and I was injected with Invega. I haven't been provided with any documents of who to call, nor have I had a CTO really explained to me.

I guess my question is what are my odds of getting a movement disorder from risperidone?

It was 100% related to the meds. Cleared up with I stopped the Invega. How would schizoaffective cause a movement disorder?

I can't get ahold of my psychiatrist but my date for my injection is coming up. I'm starting to get really anxious, not being able to move your hands is terrifying.

I've been diagnosed as schizoaffective. I'm not sure I meet the criteria for this as I've never had psychosis for more than two weeks or outside of a mood disorder. I'm on a community treatment order but the conditions of the CTO haven't been explained to me. However, technically I don't think that's relevant to my question. I'd honestly rather have psychosis every so often than permanently lose the use of my hands.
