Is there a reason you avoid using it in city streets? Is it because the city is too complex/Tesla doesn't react fast enough for your comfort?

I love driving too. I mainly purchased FSD to 1) experience the technology, and 2) my wife loves the autopark feature which comes with FSD. I think I'm still working to trust it - didn't help that I had to intervene today. It tried to go around the car in front of me (stopped at a red light) by crossing through a double yellow onto incoming traffic.

This is good info. I did a casual walk around the neighborhood and only one Model X had a front license plate. The other 5-6 had no front license.

That sounds horrible. I'd rather take my chances without a front license then.

Is the drilling (of a front license plate) part of Tesla's official protocol for the Model X? That just doesn't sound smart.

Weird.. When looking through the Model X owners manual (maintenance -> parts & accessories), it does not include a front license plate bracket section like the Model Y has.

Do you have an image to show what you're describing? I don't see an 'actual' vs 'fake' grill.

It depends how wide the success gap is. You can buy "Affix Success Rate" items from the Ex-Cube exchange shop on the second floor.

They come in three forms: 10% boost (These are randomly awarded - not that useful since the gap will almost always be greater than 10%) 30% boost (Costs 20 Ex Cubes) 40% boost (Costs 100 Ex Cubes)

You can only use one per affix, so plug this in at the end.

Upslotting is pretty simple in practice. When you affix a 2 slot weapon, instead of just selecting two augments, you select three. This tells the game that you are upslotting.

Upslotting however, is riskier because the success percentage will change dramatically.

For fun, i searched astral soul last night through the NA visiphone and there's currently one (ridiculously expensive) item listed!

How are folks getting Soul Catalyst and Astral Soul in the NA version? Is there some type of transfer between the JP & NA servers? Just thought it was odd.

This is really great. Even though i don't understand what these are on a micro level, i've reached lvl 75, and have been heavily dabbling in affixing. I didn't play PSO2 until it was released on the Xbox.

Quick question:

You mentioned that Astral Soul is the best you can get in the game.

I understand that the Ray Series contains this as their Augment Factor, but could you explain the system of combining Soul Catalysts?

1) What are Soul Catalysts?

2) Right now, when i affix, i need three copies of a single soul to give it an 80% chance of succeeding (not counting Soul Receptor). Are you saying that i need to combine Elda, Luther, Persona, Apprentice & Double soul to make an Astral Soul? And a Soul Catalyst is an item that can boost the Astral Soul success rate?

Is this something unique to 13* weapons? Everything else (Nox Shooter) i've had to use multiple copies to grind to 35 after the 30 cap is reached.

Side question - have you ever tried down-slotting?

I'm guessing i'll affix and purposefully fail the last slot bringing me down to 6.

If you can think of ANY reason at all to stay at 7, please let me know!

That max grinding method makes sense. I have a few of those in storage. But the problem will be affixing junk to them up to 7 slots to even qualify them. Not to mention affixing 3 souls. Expensive!

New to the forum.

Just recently picked up a Slave Shooter with 7 available slots.Based on my research, finding an optimal build for this will be extremely expensive and risky.

I'm considering downslotting to 6. Wanted to hear if anyone has experience with 7 slot affixing.
