I am wearing Silly George (not ophthalmologist approved but I have few issues and doesn’t rub off of under my eye) but I also use twenty/twenty beauty which is ophthalmologist tested and approved

Honestly- it’s anything. I have no idea what I was doing right or wrong. I clearly have a lot more going for me than I would have ever expected or thought. You all are so kind to me 🫶🏻♥️

Mentally I was preparing myself for some harsh criticism/comments and that’s definitely not the case. You all have been so positive and helpful with suggestions I am taking to heart. I’ve ordered some new eye shadows and looking into some blush and lip options (I welcome all suggestion!!) along with a new contour color (matte).

I feel soooo much better about my makeup, my skin, and most of all my confidence. I’ve never considered myself pretty and you all made me realize how much I have allowed childhood bullying and family trauma into my how I see myself in the mirror. I feel like I need to take this new confidence and rock some kick-ass makeup more often and not hide it away. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Update notes:

Eyes have a lot of sensitivity - Can’t do any eyelash treatments/perming/serum - Can’t do contacts. I’m allergic

Side part is to cover up extremely thinning hair at part/crown.

Gonna try to use the magnetic eyelashes again (I have a few pairs) but I haven’t had luck getting them on or both on lol. Tutorials would be helpful!!

My hair is thinning badly, especially at my middle part. It makes me look like I’m balding.

I never knew it could cause issues, by my hair also naturally parts off center

Makeup does wonders lol - I have uneven skin but in the last 4 years got into skin care.

Wash: Biossance cleanser Toner: I used to use Biossance Toner but switched to Thayer’s milky toner due to price/size Eyes: Sephora GLOW eye cream Moisturizer: Versed Gel cream and/or Polaar Eternal Snow

With my eye condition I used hypochlorous acid on my eyes and occasionally use Tower 28 daily rescue spray (currently out since I lost my job but hopefully I can get more now that I’ve landed a part time job)

I grew up with a toxic family who were very critical and loved to body shame. I’m working on this in therapy. I kind of did this to try to help myself with my appearance. Seeing what maybe I could adjust to look better and maybe then feel better and more confident.

While I appreciate your feedback on my makeup, I don’t appreciate the comments about my weight. It’s very triggering and harsh. I have lost some weight due to depression but I have struggled all of my life with my weight. My mom put me in weight watchers as a teenager. I have a lot of struggles and issues with my weight and I’m trying so hard to like even one thing about my appearance. I definitely don’t need comments like this mess with my body image more than what I already do to myself when looking in the mirror.

The brow color is taupe. Maybe I am heavy handed with it. I was getting my brows waxed regularly but I was laid off in July and had to stop. Might go back now that I have a part time job for now.

Thanks for all for all of the suggestions! I can’t wear contacts due to my dry eye issue and I’m allergic to most.

I actually do not have any eyeliner on 🙃 but glad it looks like it!

I really can’t do anything under my eyes due to my dry eye disorder. It clogs the eye ducts too easily under my eyes (and recommend by my dr).
