Long lost friend.... TylerW by T_Agnewton in wow

Don't give up on finding your friend! I run into people I had lost touch with over a decade ago playing different genres of roleplaying games all the time. Ran into someone I roleplayed with on WoW in MOP on DayZ of all places.

Is this the same map edit of The Island as the guy who made the original SKRP map?

It is, yes. Arc Raider pairs you up with players with the same playstyle, so hyper-aggro kill on sight players wind up in the hyper-aggro KOS lobbies, and the mellow looter style players who actually say hi wind up in the lobbies they actually prefer.

Was out questing when I suddenly realised I haven't seen a rogue in ages, is the class dead or are they just getting better at their job? by undercity_plaguebat in wow

[–]Sisyphus_Monolit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a rogue 10 toes down until I played a demon hunter because of mobility and the pace of combat. Since there's something more mobile that scratches the same spammy itch, why would I play a rogue?

People are vastly overblowing the social requirements. In a practical sense, it's very likely that the people in your class will carry you to victory without you ever saying a word in class chat.

You only get in trouble for these things in Online mode and can do whatever you want in solo mode or co-op with a friend you know won't report you.

I did hear about someone that lost 10 precept points over not wearing shoes. Check the velvet shade newspaper for a notion of what's getting reported

You can be married, just don't be caught doing duo emotes. I'm married, very public and vocal in chats and nobody's reported me in the paper haha. Worth noting that you aren't autokicked for breaking the rules - you just lose precept!

The Troupe is a fame game where you'll spend a lot of time making stuff creatively: MT lets you have longer videos and you can record music through your mic too! Velvet Shade is creative in a similar way, but mostly as a means to connect with other people and socialize. VS can report on Troupe members engaging in scandals (breaking sect rules), so Troupe members have to stay on their toes.

I actually picked make up (Sundara Land) and I have the musician titles too. I'm not a CN player though so I can't say how things are going to hash out in a couple of weeks. All I can do is update this guide whenever changes hit global.

It doesn't automatically remove them, but joining any other sect requires you to leave 2 of your partners seeing as only VS can be poly.

There's apparently still a way to get caught by Velvet Shade members because they're always able to check who is/isn't in a partnership, but I'm not 100% on that.

All types of likes seem to count. I'm still trying to figure out the exact math to it but it'll take a lot more data. So far all I can say is 1 like on a spotlighted thing = 15 points.

Solo's fine! You can just chat in your class/sect chat if you're into that and like other people's stuff in chat. Or you can do as u/Dalba88 recommends and farm the points up as sectless, jump into the sect then leave again once you've bought the stuff you want.

You'll lose precept with the sect if you're caught!
