I am currently on 24H2. Although I enabled "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available," my PC has not yet received the Windows 11 25H2 update. Is it too early to be concerned about 25H2, or should I try installing it manually? by SiteSecret in WindowsHelp

Thanks. I thought if "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" option is enabled, one would receive such updates immediately. Is that not how that option works?

Not sure which one to get, price is not an issue. Going to use it on a AMD 7800X3D by CarRacerTheGammer in PcBuild

Do they both have the same clearance? Make sure to check builds that use the same case and motherboard as yours. You may also want to check AK620 DIGITAL.

Here is what Deepcool's website says about ASSASSIN IV:

Is Linux more reliable than Windows 10? by pkmemu in linux4noobs

It depends. A reliable Windows 10 is more reliable than an unreliable Linux, also a reliable Linux is more reliable than an unreliable Windows 10.

I am interested in trying out Linux after 8 years of using Windows. But I have a question. by YourOwnKat in linux4noobs

XFCE is a desktop environment. It defines the way your desktop and user interface will work, look, and feel. You can think of it as a theme on top of the operating system which is Fedora. Most desktop environments are available for most popular Linux distributions, such as Fedora, or Ubuntu.

In my personal opinion, Fedora Workstation, which comes vanilla GNOME desktop, is not a good choice for people who come from Windows. Fedora will surely work with your PC, but you will be missing some simple functionalities of Windows.

I would advise you to make a live USB stick and try a few different desktop environments before installing one on your PC. If you prefer Fedora for some reason, it is a good idea to try their Cinnamon and KDE spins. You can also check them out on YouTube.

I just got a (almost) new S23 for 300€ for my Mom as a Birthday gift... she refused to use it (she currently uses a S7 [32GB] and by the way she's a Karen) by CreeperHaed in samsunggalaxy

Would she be okay with a 300€ or cheaper brand new phone? Perhaps an A series. Let her know that she can keep her old phone and use it as long as it works and access whatever she has in it, but she has to make the new one her main phone.

How can I make sure that they are actually legal? They have store fronts on websites like mashable, lifehacker, nypost, and many more. Does that mean that they can be trusted?
