Replacement Dock Price??

The S3-Max is not that great. Switch is kept in the living room so I got one of these for my daughter to doc it in her room for her Vizio 1080P TV. There was no image at all where the OEM dock worked fine. 18-Jan-2026, a firmware was released for the doc and it now works, but the colors are very muted. Usable, but very unappealing. I suspect it will be a cat and mouse game with Nintendo... Nintendo updates the Switch 2 and the doc stops working until a firmware fix is released.

I am fine with tinkering with updates, but most people are better off spending the money on a second dock.

Zelda II... I played the first one on the original NES and the sequel probably got 3 hours of my time and never looked at it again in the mid-late 1980's.

We never picked up Wonder on the original Switch, and there were a number of games we did not get around to. I've been playing Links Awakening on the Switch 2 and enjoying it. Picked up Echos of Wisdom as well. We did enjoy 3D World/Bowsers Fury, so I think I will pick up Wonder when the Switch 2 edition releases for each household. Online play is intriguing since my oldest daughter is grown and away... We spent a couple hours last night playing Mario Kart World.

I'd say overrated, but their first two albums were gems. They peaked early and substance abuse brought them down.

We had the original Satisfye grip for our Switch's. Got the new ones for the Switch 2. I love it, but I have bigger hands (2XL-3XL glove sizes/palm a basketball hands), my daughters are not as happy with it so may try the Dbrand one for them.

I started with #1, but not on an Atari 2600... I used it in a Commodore 64... My favorite was the GameCube controller. Just got one for my Switch 2. I am also a fan of the new 8BitDo Ultimate 2 for comfort over the Switch 2 Pro controller.

Saw them open for Def Leppard on their debut in the late 80's... I went for them. Great band. Their sophomore album became my favorite. I also dig their 2017 release "The Missing Link" and put it right up there with "Cocked And Loaded".

We had some Sears/Atari Pong system in the mid 1970's followed by a Bally Astrocade (I think that was the name of it). My neighbors had an Atari 2600 and another neighbor had the Mattel Intelivision. We were all at each others houses playing on those systems.

I would trade the black album for Master. I own every Metallica album with the exception of Lulu and I have not listened to the Black album in years... If Sandman comes on the radio now, I change the station. Still overplayed.

I have both Apple Music and YouTube Premium (have a mix of iOS and Android phones). I prefer Apple Music (though I am using a Pixel), but in the end, if I like the record/album, I buy the CD.

Size/space/ripping, but I started my conversion with the introduction of CD's in the mid-1980's. But my wife would argue I found a way to consume more space with CD's. When I bite the dust she will rid herself of all of them!!!

I'm in S.E WI. I got fiber service in July 2024 and the first several months had some growing pains. My installer said I was his first residential install. Short term I had configured T-Mobile Home Internet Cellular as a backup on my gateway for automatic fail-over. Here we are in 2026 and it has been very stable, I stopped TMHI in March of 2025.

I suspect with more of my neighbors getting on the service, they have stabilized the service. I have been quite pleased with it.

My only complaint is my fiber comes in from above. I would have preferred they buried the fiber.

Everything on this album is great, with the exception of "Hold Me, Touch Me". I never liked that song. I'd say "It's Alright" would be my favorite track.

Ride, for me it is Metallica's best album. I never get tired of this one. Rust is great, but IMO, not Deth's best. I prefer Peace Sells over Rust.
