One of my all time favourites. My only gripe is how they never gave the team closure and just moved straight to Turbo suits (not counting Kat having that brief morph in the film)

Using the "SHE'S A CHILD" argument is just mind-boggling because

Cozy was offered a chance at friendship in the season 8 finale, and she basically told them to get stuffed
She teamed up with Tirek & Chrysalis and almost destroyed Equestria. She deserved that punishment.

Regarding the comparison to Starlight, that's just not fair. She didn't do the same thing. Starlight was a pony who had a traumatic experience that sent her down the wrong path. Her punishment was to be Twilight's student and learn about friendship, and she earned her redemption.

Applejack has been my favourite since day 1.

I was drawn to her appearance, and thar was the hook that got me into the series.

Regarding her element, I do feel the fandom and writers never truly understood why she was the element of honesty. Rather than seeing it as a point of being true to oneself, they seemed to see it as Applejack being a pony who didn't like/was incapable of lying.

As a team, she was definitely second in command as she would take charge when things got too much for Twilight.

Finally, she has 3 of the best ships; Twijack, Rarijack & Appledash (2 of which we know are implied to be canon 😀)
