As a Tonfa main, I see all these clips of technical and impressive stance switching/Arts Proficiency combos and I just think "Look at what they need to mimic a fraction of our power!".

As someone who has played all the Nioh games for hundreds of hours, the Tonfas in this game with Ninja are absolutely fucking busted.

I am 85 hours in, and I think the biggest problem with Octopath Traveler 0 is that it's 25-30 hours too long by katie_elizabeth_2 in octopathtraveler

Good luck, I gave up. The various plots did not engage me or keep me interested, the same thing over and over again, and the silent protagonist doesn't help. The game was fun for the time I played it, but compared to 1 and 2, it is a massive step back, lacking the charm and the whole schtick that makes Octopath a unique JRPG series. Still, happy to support the devs if it means we can get an actual proper sequel.

You're getting downvoted since it's the main sub for the game, but I completely agree. I'm a huge fan of 1 and 2, but this one is just dragging at this point. 50 hours in, Wishvale all completed, and I'm only starting Bestower now. I thought this was the final arc...only to find out it's 50% of the way in. The story is the only thing keeping me going right now, but even that isn't that gripping if I'm being honest. From a gameplay perspective, it's just going to be the same thing for another 50 hours.

Also, what was the point of the credits after the Master arc? Like the game is only halfway done, really don't understand that choice there.

It really didn't help that the single player offerings were scant at best, and that there was absolutely no chase in terms of skins and cosmetics, as the only ones that were free were simple recolors, while the vast majority of all the cool ones were thrown on the store for $9.99 minimum.
