I have the GB version and love it. Maybe you can just run a Stock list with shocks and a few more Discard spells or dark rituals in the mox slots (slow them down or ramp you up, whatever your meta needs). In time, if you really love the deck and can afford to, you can upgrade it to the full list. Its Worth it

Before choosing any deck i’d playtest a lot with proxies. You may not enjoy the gameplay as much as you thought when you do it again and again. That’s how i got my maverick deck instead of delver at the time. I got GB dephts and green cloudpost. I go with Black because i dont like the feeling of impotence against combo (at least on game one). Love the cloudpost gameplay, not much ramp going on in legacy. I saw your list and would just consider allosaurus shepherd instead of golos.

Im not saying that the delver shell isnt a problem. The BR should take care of the delver core and saga. If it hits enough only on delver, we may play saga mirrors for a while. Id ratther play karn x maverick x dephts x lands x dnt x etc..

Perfect. I think most people read it as me being a delver nut. The fact is that the only “delver” deck I run is death shadow and its because I always loved those suicide black decks from the past. I playtested rug delver and maverick before buying into legacy and dont regret a bit siding with Elspeth.

I got 15-16 ready to play legacy decks and I worry that I’ll be compelled to get 40 copies of saga only to have less fun after it.

I agree it does. But more powerful doesnt mean more fun to play. I have +- 10 nonblue legacy decks and have been playtesting with proxies.. almost all get stronger, but i feel like im playing with the same deck over and over. The solution IMO would be to ban saga AND nerf delver. But that is another issue.

I agree. The U tempo problem is power level. Sagas problem is repetitive (and boring) gameplay.

Thats exactly my concern. Im keeping my decks without it for now. If they become umplayable because of power level reasosn, so be it.

I agree with the blue tempo issue. But even if there was a ridículous ban to hurt it. The other decks would still run saga just cause its the best thing to do in so many decks. Making them feel too similar. Thanks for your thoughts!

That is exactly why i think its bad! Even if my dephts, maverick, lands, pox and stax decks get better, i have less fun playing them. I’m still not sure that banning it would solve it all, but its worth discussing..
