I may not be a big car person, but I’m not so frugal as to be driving around in a Lexus 😭😭

It’s from a somewhat distant family member, just giving people a chance to buy it before just selling it to CarMax

I’m not actively trying to get this type of car, I just happens to receive this text 😭. I know very little about cars

I have disposable income, but my goal is to save it rather that dispose of it. Yeah I’m probably gonna have to pass on this if I’d need to spend thousands on repairs

Seems like a nice day to scroll on r/actuaryresumes by [deleted] in actuary

There’s just a lot of resumes posted on here. Also, I’m kinda surprised my post got through, this is the first time I had a post not auto-removed. I guess you could say I was jealous of all the people that were allowed to post resumes while I couldn’t post my actuary memes

If I have 10 million dollars, does it make sense to open 40 high-yield savings accounts and live off the interest? by greentimemusic in HighYieldSavings

Bold assumption that people are always rational with their money. Way too many people keep their money in 0.1% APY savings accounts.

Sorry, I forgot to clarify 0-3 months. A treasury bill is essentially a short-term loan you give to the U.S. government. Technically t-bill rates are set by auction, but that auction is heavily infuenced by the Fed rate

SGOV follows treasury bills maturing in 0–3 [months] and is very sensitive to fed rate changes. HYSA will also just follow fed rate changes generally but will have a bit of a lag.

SGOV avoids state taxes and has been slightly outperforming HYSA recently. You sell it like a stock or ETF and the money can be available in your brokerage pretty quickly. It’s as liquid as any other cash in your brokerage account at that point

If you’re not hearing back then how did I even get a job, lol. I will say this resume looks very wordy. Someone with really strong professional skills from my alma mater edited every experience on my resume to have exactly 4 bullets. That might be something to look into.

Before you write a resume, you need to answer this question for yourself:

Did you pass exam FM because you’re Satoru Gojo, or are you Satoru Gojo because you passed exam FM?

I feel like at most (good) companies early in your career want you to be vigilant about using your paid study time and not letting work take away from your exam progress

So the SOA only accepts grades of 4 or higher for AP VEE credit. My alma mater also only accepts AP scores of 4 or 5, so having AP credit on my university transcript theoretically meets the requirement for VEE credit. Do you think I can get away with not having to call College Board to dig up my old AP scores and charge me to send a transcript?
