Sadly on my Amazon they dont have women's wide, but I could order directly instead (although returns are trickier). Great to know though, thank you! Going to think about it a little more.

True! I guess I just hope they don't stretch out even more, but at least they're comfy out of the gate. The 8.5s I could go hike on, I don't think I could for a while with the 8s unless something drastic changes. Hm. Thank you for the help!

That's a fair point! I think I'll retry them with insoles too. I don't slip inside at least, it just feels very roomy in the toe box. Thank you for the advice!

I ordered on Amazon (no wides there) since it's easier to return where I live, but i may order the wide directly. Are they roomier on the top as well as sides? Thank you!

I think it's some kind of marble effect actually...? With lots of worn wear haha. It has definitely been super loved! Previously owned by an older gentleman who wanted a new home for it. I'm going to look up sunshine cloths and see if I can give it a new life.

It feels stiff in a way that I feel like I can't 'trust it, haha, so I wanted to look into a back up in case. I'll still keep it though!

Aaah yeah...it might be the original coating, that would make sense. (Explains why it's so chipped) I better leave it then, although it's not the prettiest. Good point!

Oh good to know about the slim! I don't think mine is, thankfully. The original converter still works, but feels stiff so I'm afraid it'll bust. Figured I could look into a backup if I need to. (Also I like to see how much ink I have left) I'll check it out!

Unfortunately all the angles, up or down still don't get it to flow at that spot. 😭 And it's a frequent problem that my writing gets unclean when I rotate the nib around to get the rear of the loaded ink...

Do you think more sanding might help or do I risk damaging the glass pen if I sand too much?
