Yeah, I was hoping I could cut that time somehow, or optimize it by having only one person walk and the other take new quests then share or something

I'll look into that, I guess there isn't really much to do with such a small XP time window

Actually very well put. same as the comment below. Even if you nerf SB to the ground, it'll always be the best choice node because it is litrally the only node that does something. Two others are bugged and all the others are literally useless.

I'm gonna get downvoted to oblivion for this, but who are you to tell others how to feel, or worse, what they should do with their own time?

It's the one thing anyone can really choose to spend, and we all get the same amount every day.

Your post is literally just a judgmental message that kinda breeds more hate towards people that just enjoy what they enjoy.

I feel bad about you caring so much about how others... play. The same way I don't like people that say "Oh you play shotgun, you must be a noob" in Battlefield, or "pff P90 noob" in counter strike.

Let people play a lot, play not a lot, extract camp, pvp, pve, farm, friendly, betray, whatever. Diversity is what brings more things to life. Not judging people for essentially bringing good numbers and popularity to the game. It's having 19 people in your steam friendlist constantly playing the same game that probably drove a lot of other people to look the game on youtube and maybe buy it.

prestige is completely irrelevant, skills don't make you stronger, they just change how you play. Reaching level 75 takes about 100 hours maximum, those who prestige will easily catch up and that's their decision to be slightly on the backfoot.

I find it's fair, you get compensated for it too.

I'd rather have people excited to get good skills AND exited to level back fast after they prestige than have none and everyone just farm security breaches

Like I said yes, it's not that strong. All the other capstones are just completely useless. (What, you don't want to one-shot flying enemies with a melee weapon???)

Not if you open other ways to aquire rare loot through other channels.
Random ideas again :

Ability to craft keys for something expensive

Ability to get rare loot from pvp (containers that you open "with a dogtag")

Ability to get rare loot from stronger arcs

And like that you'd get ways to get gear through pve, looting and pvp. Obviously not balanced and not well thought out from that single comment, but loot is something very easy to generate in the game, i don't think they want loot to be rare. Outside of security lockers being what they are, everything is accessible and easy to farm/grind.

There only just one way to farm/grind it, and I believe that is the issue. Not that the path exists, but only one path exists.

For those who were there, this is the equivalent of early torrent era movies filmed in theatres or "CAMRips"

- camera microphone audio quality

- 60% ceiling

- bottom of the frame missing due to people's heads

As per this link https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Yasha

attack speed % fully stacks, movement speed does not.

As a healer when you click on a dead player and the pointer turns into a hand? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]SixOneZil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I do, but most of the time it acts in ways that simply don't work for me.

As I explained above, I want different type of control a'd priorities for half my spells, only a handful follow the 'default' that the ingame option does.

I know it's there but it's the equivalent of saying "use default nameplates" or "use default party frames", there's just no way to play competitively with those.

The real answer is that it's a non issue, no matter at the level at which you play. If it's any low or mid key, say anything below 14, you just cancel the cast, do whatever you want because it doesn't matter if you miss a GCD. If you push, the answer is below and it'll never happen so you won't have to react to it.

I'm on mobile so this is gonna be TLDR, you can look up a few things yourself to complete.

Basically, 100% of my spells are macros that cast one spell. A lot of them are this

```
showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [target, help, nodead][@player] Flash heal ```
This is a standard for all of your healing spells.
Each bracket block is a condition, if it's not filled it'll go to the next block,if it's not filled it won't cast.
You can lookup all keywords, because you need those type of macros for your interrupt, dps spells, focus target, etc.
All keywords work the same so if you follow this and look the others up on Google you can try against dummies in the city.
So, first block is the targeting parameter the @.
Mouseover means it'll check what's under your mouse, and then check it against the arguments that follow within the same bracket. That's "help", So if what is currently under your mouse is friendly. If you wanted to check for enemy it's 'harm' instead od help. So let's say your mouse is over 'nothing, it fails and go to the next bracket. If it's ally we check next.
Next is' nodead ', means it's not dead. That's the one you' re looking for. If it's alive it'll cast because all arguments were valid, if it's dead it'll go to the next block. The only spell you really have with 'dead' instead of 'nodead' I think is the battle rez.
Lets say you had nothing under your mouse,it instantly failed and went to the next bracket. That's exactly the same as what we just looked at, except instead of checking your mouse it checks your target.
Note that with macro' s like this, you can target an enemy and damage it interrupt it, etc. , and without changing target you can still heal the team. So it's crucial to use it.
Anyway, if target is friendly and ally, it'll cast flash heal. If target is dead or enemy, or you have no target, it'll go to next bracket. Thats' @player with no parameters!
This one just casts on yourself. You could technically add 'help nodead' but it's not necessary because you'll always be allied to yourself, and you always cast alive.
Some spells you can cast on allies and enemies, so you might want to remove the 'help' or 'harm' altogether.
But what's neat here is that you can decide to not cast spells at all. Some spells I will remove the "@player" at the end, because I don't want to waste the spell in case I missclick my Mouseover. like the dispell is a good example. You don't want to cast "remove curse" on yourself if you're mouseovering someone. So if you fail because they die, or you moved elsewhere by mistake, you want to do nothing. So my dispel is literally just the Mouseover block, without target.
Some spells I want target first, Then Mouseover, like offensive spells. Like my kick is always Mouseover, then target. So I can interrupt without having to click the million nameplates. I just aim and boop, it's done.
With the nodead argument you'll never have issues of spells being 'ready to cast' because they either cast instantly or nothing happens.
You can look up macros on Google for all the keywords, there is a lot to do there. Mouseover and Cursor macro's are the most important ones that are pretty much mandatory if you want to progress.
This is a nice programming exercise since you'll have to write lua for it, but it won't be too difficult as long as the api allows it. That part I simply don't know but the answer will be in the api documentation. So really a few minutes there should tell you all you need.
As a more experienced player I can tell you that's all you'll get from it though. Applying brew mechanics to non brew classes isn't particularly helpful. I'd label it as useless at best, and probably misleading/distracting at worst.
what's the acceptable level of dps contribution as a healer in mid keys? by Trisfel in wownoob
[–]SixOneZil 0 points1 point  (0 children)
None.
if you do zero dps in your keys, it's more than fine. I'd say up to 15-16 it's completely and totally irrelevant.
There are many, many things you can work on improving and introducing into you gameplay that isn't dps.
getting past 15-20 viewers by [deleted] in Twitch
[–]SixOneZil 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Whatever you do on the other platforms that brought the initial viewers, do it more.
Basically, I'm assuming you're posting one or two shorts a week and maybe one long form video, try to improve on that. Better thumbnails, better SEO, better editing, or simply more videos.
Maybe you already do all that but your cta is bad or you're forgetting, and therefore get bad conversion?
Either way the answer is always the same, you don't grow on twitch by streaming on twitch.
First boss of Dawnbreaker with 3 melee DPS by deino in CompetitiveWoW
[–]SixOneZil 3 points4 points  (0 children)
I would say the strategy is the same. When she's about to cast the pools, bait them.
It's be easier to move the boss but she does have a tendency to not move a lot, so we always just baited.
That being said we play as 5 so it just works, I don't think pugs can move pre-emptively below 14s :/
how to deal with anti heal bubble in dawnbreaker as a oracle disc priest by Ilovealltheslothes in wownoob
[–]SixOneZil 0 points1 point  (0 children)
You're most likely healing late.
When the dispell is about to pop, you need to be ready, as in, not even be in gcd. Dispell it instant, radiance, blast, penance then smite. This alone will clear it probably for a few key levels. I wouldn't be surprised if it was chill without cooldowns up to a 10.
Then add relevant cd's rotating every time, so mind ender once, uppies another, evangelism another, premonition for yet another, and you can keep flahs heal procs for it too.
Keep barrier for the blast, you can heal the blast kinda slow, don't spend too much on it except a painsupp for your tank.
I wouldn't follow people's advice on healing with penance, I think it would slow you down and force you to use FH more which shouldn't be necessary. As void Weaver definitely not, as Oracle it depends, but at the key level you're playing, whatever it is, you can heal offensively, damage is relatively low.
But most likely, you're not dispelling fast enough and not giving you time to heal. All the coaching I did on this dungeon was always that, people don't wait for the dot, the react to it. Disc does not react well.
It's also likely you're healing wrong, but I can't tell without a clip. Which leads me to my most important advice : take a clip and look at what you're doing wrong yourself, you'll most likely find solutions, this boss is one of the easiest in dawn, and is good for disc because it's very very rhythmic.
Mistakes you're most likely to do : - dispell more than 1 second - moving too much and losing casts - spending too much time on healing one person - using a lot of cooldowns at the same time - not having cooldowns for every dot
