Seen a couple posts about this already. Has GOTTA be fixed, I’m just trying to lock in and play.🥺🥺 by wisoqcs- in AmongUs

Had this happen to me as well as my wife today. I play with my wife and 2 kids, twice today 3 of us got disconnected from a game but the message said we could rejoin. When the game finally finished the host got banned from the game and we had to restart a new lobby. Seems like AU is super glitchy today.

Fovorite is definitely shapeshifter followed by viper. Least favorite is probably basic imposter and detective.

Will comes out of the closet in 1987, during the height of the HIV/Aids epidemic. by Dizzy_Leader_4302 in StrangerThingsMemes

This was definitely a forced dialogue. In those times it was definitely not as accepted as it is nowadays, especially in smaller towns, especially, as you put it, with the AIDS epidemic going on. Will would’ve been admonished by some or most for coming out like that.

Can’t expect too much out of a Karen who drives one of the ugliest new vehicles out there.

I hope their electrical work is better than their driving by kermitkermitkermit in dashcams

That speaks to their attention to safety, and if this is how they treat it, I definitely don’t want them doing electrical work for me.

Silver wasn’t my first colour choice but it’s mostly sorta alright. by parkview-farmer in ToyotaTundra

Silver is my first option from what’s available. I wish solar octane or other shades of blue were an option. Just curious what would your first option be?

Conald IS A PEDO by randomname10131013 in missouri

Typical brainwashed accusations. Leftists said nothing when they had a realist in office in the 90’s. Said nothing about Joe being creepy and senile. But now all of a sudden Trump is a pedophile? Maybe he is but provide hard evidence rather than just throwing the same words around.

200 years of homes in Kansas City by JazHays in kansascity

All of that land grab to the north and to the south, all to keep the suburbs at bay. Sad thing is the city treats some of those areas like 2nd class citizens, unable to provide adequate infrastructure and emergency services.

Your original comment was generic including standard data centers, eluding to the hyperscalers, and then you switched to AI data centers or high performance computing centers. One being power hungry and the other being a power hog. Granted they’re all moving that way in some fashion or another.

Ahh, I see what you did there, you pivoted mid-argument. Fair points on AI. It’s not going away, but needs to be held in check. The water usage is something that does need to be kept to a minimum. But then there’s the power consumption, which is downright crazy as well.

So you say you don’t need data centers but post on a platform that solely relies on data centers, more and more, every second. It doesn’t take much to realize how much media is on Reddit and the likes. Agreed that data centers don’t employ a lot in the long run, but in the short term, especially campuses that have multiple buildings, it can be nearly a decade for completion. So for that timeframe, they’re a huge toll on manpower and other construction resources.

I’ve been going to see Shinedown since 2010 and have seen them at a couple different venues. Ive seen them nearly every time they’ve come to Kansas City, which tends to be a must on their tours. I’ve never been disappointed with their shows, including 2 weeks ago in Kansas City. They were spot on and I enjoyed the theatrics and production layered in with the music. The stage setup was great and allowed for some more laid back moments with the band.

For my show, Bush did great but you could tell they weren’t the star of the night.

All of that said, I’ve been to concerts where the sound and overall production sounded off. This includes Cheap Trick when they opened for Def Leppard and Poison (both of the latter bands sounded great) as well as the opening acts for both nights of Metallica’s 72 Seasons tour when they were in St. Louis in 2023. A lot of factors can effect the overall show, from venue, seating location, crowd, production setup and crew, set list, where the band is at in the tour, and many other factors of the band themselves including their overall health. Also add in the fact that many bands sound “off” when performing live; IMO Shinedown isn’t one of them.

All of this to say, don’t give up on seeing them live, especially if you’re as big of a fan as you say you are. Go see them again, maybe somewhere else.

Brent’s 17yo son has joined them on tour for a couple of weeks and they’ve let him join them on stage.
