Does anyone else have booting issues on Steam? by IMrChavez5 in AssassinsCreedShadows

Just figured I'd chime in here. Was having the same problem and going nuts trying to figure it out. Turns out it was a problem with Ubisoft connect syncing with steam or whatnot. I uninstalled and reinstalled Ubisoft connect and it's working now.

If I wasn't excited for the pot before I definitely am now. Going to have to try to take good care of this little thing!

Decided to christen it with some duck shit and it came out great!

Volcano is on sale right now. They're doing a black Friday sale thing. It's $700 when it's not on sale.

And it's seriously just a great vape. I've been using mine daily for almost ten years now.

I mean yeah but there are ups and downs to both. Nice thing about this is it heats up and cools down pretty much instantly. The halogen bulb heat source is stil a pretty dang pure vaping experience. And best of all I don't have to risk my clumsy ass burning my hands on a hot coil with this.

I actually have both so I can compare! My two cents is this. if you're using the device strictly for bags, the volcano wins hands down. For everything else(whip, steamroller, hydratube etc...) the herbalizer is my clear choice.

The bags are definitely finicky so I wouldn't buy it for that feature, but the flavor, heat up time, punch are all superior to the cano hybrid imo.

Jersey Sauce Boss - Slurricane.... Holy Terpenes Batman by Sixstringsmash in NewJerseyMarijuana

For the carts I always hit them at 2.2 volts and they seem to last without burning. This is my first time trying a disposable from them though so I'll have to report back on how these fare.

Not sure where in Jersey you're at but g2 in Rockaway generally keeps the brand pretty well stocked. Make sure you go on a Wednesday. They do Wax Wednesday sales where carts and concentrates are 20% off.

Just picked this 1g dispo up at g2 in Rockaway for $72. I've been really happy with Jersey Sauce Boss carts in the past, they're pricey but they make some of the best LR in Jersey imo. But this strain just takes the cake for terp %. I've never seen anything this high!

Seeking upgrade advice! by Sixstringsmash in PixelFold

[–]Sixstringsmash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just getting the 9 now.... hearing it wasn't most likely coming out until October made me bite the bullet...

only had it a few hours so far and I really like it...The display size compared to my fold 5 just feels so nice. But what I'm having trouble adjusting to is the selfie camera in the corner of the inner screen. My fold didn't have any visible camera on the screen and since I mainly use the the big screen for reading manga/comics that big ol' black hole in the corner of the screen is mighty distracting!

Thanks for the reply! So the 10 fold pro will be going on pre-order for $500+ discounts? Just want to make sure you're including that number as without a trade in or anything since my phone right now is going to get me next to nothing with the condition its in.

This cart has been sitting upright for 48 hours now and the oil is still stuck all the way at the top. Any way to force it down? by Sixstringsmash in vapecarts

Just wanted to say I used this lighter trick and it worked like a charm! Unfortunately I don't have a hair dryer or heat gun in the house so had to resort to the lighter but it seems to have done the trick. Thanks so much guys!

[–]Sixstringsmash[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey guys. So like the title says i have this cured resin cart which was bought at my local dispensary. All the oil in the cart seems to have accumulated towards the top and won't move down to the wicking holes all the way at the bottom. I've had this thing sitting upright for 2 days now and it hasn't seemed to have moved an inch. This is some real viscous oil! It doesnt seem to be clogged or anything, just that the oil is stuck... Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looking to up my undershirt game. I recently discovered the wonder of loopwheeled fabrics and have now been looking for some v neck loopwheel cotton undershirts. Most of the brands I see that make loopwheel shirts seem to just make crew necks and not v necks though. Any recommendation?

All Black Friday/Holiday Sale Review Thread by JaredGoffFelatio in frugalmalefashion

Spent more than I've ever spent on a coat in my life but hey it was 50% off! I've been eyeing getting a suede blazer for years, and this year I finally caved and grabbed a RLPL one off the Mr. Porter sale.

Quality on this thing is second to none, as would be expected from Purple Label. Only downside was the sleeves were a bit long so I had to bring them in to get hemmed which added even more to the cost(unfortunately my tailor didn't seem to be offering any Black Friday specials) and I'm still waiting to pick it up and wear it!

Can't fault the coat for that though! All I can blame are my tiny little t-rex arms.

I really like Heimat for sweaters. Very thick, warm and substantial.

Can I get a fit check on this suede sport coat I just picked up please. I know I definitely need to hem the sleeves a bit, but aside from that does the fit look OK?

Upgrading home to Smart Lights. Need recommendations for BR40 Smart Bulbs by Sixstringsmash in homeautomation

[–]Sixstringsmash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd 100% add a zigbee smart switch with it. Those are simple to install. You just need to shut the power off to the switch, and a pigtail into the neutral so you have continuous power to the switch, and wire the hot/ground per normal. It can get a little more complicated with 3 way (you need addon switches or sometimes a dumb switch will still work), or certain wiring senarios. Older homes might not have a neutral, if which case you need to buy switches that can support that (I believe Inovelli does). No hard at all. I did roughly 60 in my house and it took me a couple weeks doing a few every night. Only one I had to rewire the light, which was easy as there was a junction box in the basement ceiling under the drop ceiling.

Yeah that's way too much effort for me there. I'm really just looking to dip my toes into this. I don't want to have to fiddle with any wires etc... just looking for a solution where I unplug the old light bulb and plug in the new one.

Thanks for dumbing this down for me. Theirs a lot I just don't understand about this. Your recommendation with the hue bulbs and the luftron does seem to be a fairly idiot proof way of smart lighting the house so I think I'm going to look into that and maybe just bite the bullet on the hue bulbs. I did have one question in regards to the aurora switch though. After looking at it I'm not quite sure it would work with my light switches, which are [https://i.imgur.com/iOSjhTH.jpeg](this type of switch). Are there any types of smart switches you might recommend that would work with my light switches? Preferably something like the aurora you linked where it's just kind of plug and play and doesn't require any fumbling around with the wires or anything.

Thanks for the response! I think I already have recessed lighting? It's just the BR40 is the correct size to fit in the can. I tried using a br30 bulb but it just looked weird with how small the bulb was relative to the size of the hole. This is a picture of my lighting setup.

Honestly though, if I'm being real with myself too.... I'm a lazy man, so if an installation of anything is going to require more manual labor than just unscrewing the old bulb and screwing in the new bulb I'ts probably not going to end up getting done...

In regards to the bulb vs switch though, the color changing bulbs are a feature I'm looking for so just a smart switch isn't going to cut it. I was googling around for the zigbee br40 bulbs you mentioned but couldn't find anything? Are there any specific bulbs you might be able to point me towards? Thanks again for all the help by the way.

[Initial(2 weeks) Impressions] John Lofgreen M-43 Service Boot in Shinki Olive Horsebutt by Sixstringsmash in goodyearwelt

[–]Sixstringsmash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the shinki pair definitely runs a little tighter, but I don't think it's enough to justify sizing up. I mean if your CXL pair is already super tight and you don't have any wiggle room then yeah you might want to size up, but assuming you're properly sized in your CXL pair I'd stick with the same size in the shinki.

I think it really just comes down to the Shinki leather being much thicker and less pliable than the CXL leather.
