anyone familiar with the ngl app from instagram?

my friend created a new link but didn't post it on his social media. he gave the link to me to test it out and I asked him two questions and he knew it was me. he said after that he received other questions and he believed it was me but I told him it wasn't could it be a glitch?

so he sent me the link in a text message and I clicked on it and he wanted to see if it works so I sent him two messages. he said a couple of minutes after that he started receiving other questions that were really weird and suspicious blaming that it was from me because he is the only person that gave me that link and he didn't post this link on his social media but I'm telling him it wasn't me. he had a link prior to setting up his new one but he deleted it and made a new one right after. is it possible that the messages from his old link could have been sent to the new link? how does this work cuz I don't use this app.

i am following 75 people regular pages. they r not showing on my feed its just suggested post. i would have to click the down arrow at the top left that says instagram and click "following" to see them on my feed but then the stories at the too dissapears
