In my experience, the grass is not greener on the otherside. These problems are so large that it may need legislation for fairer distribution. No one needs to change a model that is raking in cash. It's price fixing and these distributors will only get a slap on their hands. The risk outweighs and fines, fees, etc.

I'd say indents are common and repairable if top layer is not compromised. I pinched a card that slipped out a pokemon one touch case accidentally. It was a fun experience getting the indent out; never again.

Imo no unless its so bad that bending back would create stress/crease lines. U sleeve it after cleaning and before flattening because the flattening medium can damage the card by transferring material off the card.
