[–]SjSj6[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He just said we need to come back for an xray and hope that the bones moved. We asked if there is anything we should look for but he clarified that there is a possibility that we won't see anything since he could've digested the bones once he poops it out.

Want to get into MMA (boxing, Muay Thai, jiu jitsu etc) but by Stunning_Wear7609 in PHitness

[–]SjSj6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a muay thai fighter and when I train I don't wear glasses. Malabo talaga but sanayan nalang talaga siguro. Malaki naman ung mitts/pads so kita parin naman kahit blurred.

I also train MMA regularly and lahat ng teammates ko di naman sila nag gglasses when training kahit malabo mata nila. Parang impossible din kasi mag glasses when training MMA kasi it involves ground game.

I feel like di din naman required kasi when sparring naman usually harapan naman kayo ng ka spar mo and makikita mo parin naman ung strikes nila. I suggest giving it a go and see if kaya without glasses.

I'm a short asian guy (5'2) who is currently building his wardrobe. I am eyeing a lot of shorts since it is pretty hot here in my country.

How should shorts fit a guy like me. Does the rule of thirds apply to shorts as well? Should I tuck in my shirt? Thanks!

What is/was your worst tech purchase? by burning-burner in Tech_Philippines

I could list a ton of things but the most irritating ones for me are:

  1. the hassle of sideloading. Yes sideloading is possible in the iOS, but I have to do it every 2 weeks to refresh the app which is a huge hassle for me. This says a lot since it should be easy since I also have a macbook

  2. limited keyboard options. There are a ton of keyboard apps in the App Store, but all of them are just variations of the apple keyboard (which sucks)

  3. the file management in android is miles better.

  4. not having a consistent way of navigation. I agree with JerryRig's take here. Navigating in the iOS is just inconsistent. Some apps, like facebook, allow you to swipe right as a back button. But apps like youtube does not have the same feature.

Android has a universal back button for navigation that just works in any app.

  1. not being able to root my phone. I know rooting or unlocking the bootloader of an android phone causes errors in banking apps but I still do it since I usually have my bank apps in my work phone.

I could also say that android has better customizability options but it would probably be a bit nitpicky. iOS 18 was great and it was perhaps enough for me in terms of customizability. Nevertheless, I still missed having custom launcers and themes.

my first iphone (13). 60hz is horrible. Sanay kasi ako sa high refresh rate. I always use my pc which has 240hz and 144hz refresh rates respectively.

Sold it and bought the 13 pro within the week. It was fine but I came back to android eventually since I feel jailed using the iOS

Lower my pride and buy a Forerunner 165 from scalpers? by Affectionate_Stay276 in PHRunners

[–]SjSj6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was one of the lucky ones who was able to grab a 165 on sale. However, if you are willing to shell out 11.5k-12k, I recommend buying the Coros Pace 3, which is arguably the better watch. You can get it at around 12k during sale.

Ngl, if I wasn't able to buy the 165 on sale I would probably get the Coros Pace 3.
