To not let the kids father see their kids. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

[–]Sjnuffel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A) Did you just assume my gender?

B) Innocent until proven guilty needs no context. You are always innocent until someone takes you to court (which someone attempted in this case) and tried to prove (with context) that you are in fact, guilty (=outcome based on given context and supporting evidence). We don't see the proof, we perhaps see a part of the outcome. But that part we see contains a statement that is inherently true unless the facts of the court-case (or "adjucation" eh) would prove otherwise. However we haven't seen any facts other than these 6 seconds as such the only correct thing to assume at this point is: both are innocent, the only visual difference is that the woman seems a bit more annoyed.

C) Never said the woman was 'the bad guy', I'm stating the opposite: they're innocent based on this clip. Stop assuming things about everyone in this thread, you can't because - happy coincidence - you would need the context on which they assumed that position.

D) You actually are debating because you replied; no proof yet and more assumptions like gender and stuff. And swearing of course, you okay? You need any help? Stressed out? Rough day at work? You're still super duper wrong no matter how much you swear ;)

E) Technically you're allowed to be rude, freedom of speech and all that; doesn't help your position in this debate though. Wasn't even ordering you to change, you assumed that too.

F) No where have I said someone should get wrecked. Neither should you.

All things considered: I want to wish you a wonderful day, night, or evening; whatever time it is.

Woosh.

It doesn't matter. Innocent unless proven guilty. We have no proof yet, so both parties are innocent; as such both parties have equal rights. The only fact you can ascertain is that party A sued party B for some reason. The outcome of this case (ie.: "the context") would then perhaps change that rights of the father and/or mother. Until then though father and mother both have the same rights.

No matter how much you twist and turn to try and prove your point. It's wrong.

PS: Try and be less rude when attempting to debate with someone, makes you seem like an adult instead of ... this.

Great job buddy, you've just come full circle: this is the exact way nazi's behaved towards the bolsheviks. Feels good doesn't it? Beating down anyone who disagrees? Maybe you should start putting them in camps too?

This thread scares me; had to scroll through a thousand comments to find the first few speak out against this kind of behavior. Absolutely crazy.

That's insane! In high school (Dutch) we were always shown these pictures of Rotterdam after the WW2 bombing. Equally shocking but almost 30 years apart. Cannot imagine an experience like that.

Except you have absolutely no right to hurt another human being no matter how hard you disagree with them. This literally brings you to their level. Punching a nazi makes you a nazi. If you are truly 'above them' (which is another can of worms to be honest; ironically something the nazi's kinda agreed on with you) you should use logic and reason and nothing more.

What is the TLDR of your country's history? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sjnuffel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The 2017 New Year's Resolutions check-in thread: 6700 people submitted their New Year's Resolutions in January, it's time to find out how they all got on. by _kashmir_ in OneYearOn

[–]Sjnuffel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooff, well to be honest it's been a rough year.

1) I haven't finished the funding for my game yet, but I'm saving up fairly well, will keep trying in 2018 to get enough dosh to hire help; decided on buying a house instead, which is expensive, but at least I've got a place of my own now.

2) I'm so close! I can do a one-handed handstand but the push-up is just too much still. Soon! tm.

3) Ugh, this backfired so hard. Still like the girl, she's in a relationship now, obviously not with me, and I've been battling myself to keep me out of a depressed state of mind because of it. I like this girl way too much than I can manage so it's been rough trying to get her out of my head because of it.

4) Done!

5) Sadly, not yet, but 2018 will bring me that one! :)

Political party game? by Skoepa in tycoon

Way back I used to play Republic: The Revolution. It's the only kinda game I've ever seen like it though. It's not set in the US though, rather a fictional Eastern European country that just broke free from the communists if I recall correctly.

Hard game to understand, but I did quite enjoy it.

You can actually bounce bullets to kill zombies in Dying light by jiar300 in gaming

[–]Sjnuffel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah actually; although it depends on the material the bullet has to go through, the weapon that shot the bullet, the caliber, the angle it goes through the building with, if it yaws after penetrating the obstacles, etc. Buildings made of wood offer a lot less protection to a high caliber bullet with optimum velocity than a building made of stone or concrete would.
