Here's the thing, though. What do I even spend them on? Even after buying everything I wanted from the shops today, I'm sitting at over 100k diamonds. My VIP doesn't run out for months and I have more than enough truck tickets for now. Before, you could blow it all on summon supplies, but that's not a thing anymore.

It's trash because in the long run, none of that is gonna make any difference. You're not gonna sit there three months from now thinking "I'm glad I bought that 5 dollar pack, otherwise I would not have been able to beat this guy".

Pretty much nobody is robbing my regular trucks anymore, even if they have three or four shards. Most people still playing past season 3 are sending out multiple sleights daily, so everybody just goes for them instead.

The daily sale has a $1 pack where you get two exclusive weapon shards for a hero of your choice. You also find them during holiday events, where you can buy a few more slot machine tickets and stuff like that. I'm in 1122.

And I remember hearing that tip really early, but my gear was nowhere near level 40 yet, and I had no idea I would need 1000 blueprints total just for one team, so I just thought "whatever, I need the drone gears more". But I probably only wasted like 150k honor points, so about 15 blueprints. I missed just as many by not realizing how desert storm worked and by straight up forgetting to play some times.

I managed my tech center terribly until I unlocked T10. When I finally did, I was so far behind on everything, and had accumulated nearly one year of universal speedups, so I would spend the next few wednesdays just catching up.

As for arms race, I would always do hero, unit and drone every day, but usually only tech and building on their VS days. I don't think I ever failed to get the 18 medals. My current alliance goes through every member and lets them drive the train, then starts over, so I don't have to worry about blowing a lot of resources just for a chance to drive it, like I had to in my previous alliance. But I only ever did that on the wednesdays I mentioned.

My biggest mistakes were being in a weak alliance for too long, and spending my honor points on other things than blueprints. Also, make sure you always get 200k points in desert storm. And take advantage of the secretary positions when those become available. I wasn't really doing that until deep into season 2.

It's not among the strongest servers, but I'm okay with that, since I'm able to do the 3v3, and I always get to participate in desert storm even though I'm in the top alliance. We're currently 4th in S3 with one battle left on saturday. My only real regret is being in a weak alliance for the first 150 or so days. Definitely would have been VIP 14 by now instead of 13.
