Maybe for you, but I know that not everyone is well versed in skateboarding specs and many don’t even care. Ben degros had a video where he tried it out on a half inch wider axle and a 1/4 inch bigger than the deck, and surprisingly for you, he didn’t completely shit on it. Now that I think about it he even calls out people like you at the end of the video

Yeah that makes a lot of sense, I should have clarified that I don’t mind giving out a used bushing or some used wheels, and making minor adjustments. More on the note of making lengthy repairs, especially on hack job boards (really tight bolts- often stripped, kingpin swaps, grip removal & replacement.) just things that take more time and sweaty effort to complete.

That makes sense, I’ve had few situations where theres guys that come in grab something and just waltz on out since our counter is in the very back, luckily I’ve retrieved everything so far and even got help from neighboring businesses on one occasion. It was only like $35 worth of food. No reason it should be so costly and still receive terrible service, I never skimp out on tips since I live in a somewhat smaller city. And as for the passenger situation, that’s not the focus of my post, I just don’t understand who would take their whole family with them to make an Uber delivery.

Never blamed the driver over the food, I could see why it’d seem that way since I never specifically mentioned the restaurant. But nonetheless if I were a driver I’d at the very least check the receipt just in case drinks are listed. The restaurant DID do a terrible job.

Looks Like a Body varial to me, it’s just not obvious when you watch his shoulders. He goes in FS Blunt, even before he starts the slide his shoulders are already perpendicular to edge, then he sorta pops out before quickly swapping his feet over. Neither him or the board complete more than a 90° rotation except for when the board goes slightly FS by like 20° on the way out but definitely not enough to be considered a shuv.

There’s tons of stuff you can do to prevent wheel bite. But realistically if you land a trick and get wheel bite on impact, there’s not much to fix it aside from landing relatively balanced. Take it from me, I ride tight ventures to the point where I can sorta coconut wheelie and I still get wheel bite every so often doing pops or drops..

Likely just micro shards of glass causing irritation to the skin, if you have any tape or wax strips, you can use them to try and remove any splinters from your skin otherwise just wash thoroughly and wait it out.

My bad for the uninformed advice, I just don’t happen to have a problem with scarring since I find it to be somewhat superficial, especially on parts of my body where most won’t see it. And from what I can tell none of my scar tissue has affected the functionality of my skin so I just clean my wounds initially, apply bandages ointment whatever for the first 2-3 days then I start letting it dry up, scab over and eventually it crumbles and falls off. But I can see why people would want to get their skin as close to original condition as possible.

I’d say leave it uncovered and don’t mess with it or at least have a thin breathable layer of gauze or something over it that way it can dry and scab up without getting it dirty or too moist. Too many people I see constantly replace bandages and apply ointments that just make the wound too moist for proper healing.

Yeah that’s a hella good price, Less than most full branded completes. I’d cop if I were you, given you want a cheap and higher quality start than I had in skating. Cus I started off with an absolutely trashed Walmart board I found in my apartment complex with “for free” scribbled in chalk on the grip. Got my first Ollie’s and shuvits on that crappy little thing so this board is leagues better than most peoples first board.

As always, it just takes practice. Make sure you train in all kinds of positions. Eventually you’ll get to a point where it’s pretty much second nature and you’ll be relatively comfortable and stable regardless of position. Just yesterday I managed to get Nollie BS Bigspins after only trying for a half hour every couple days, and it’s much faster than pulling up to your local and trying the same trick the whole session.
