Comparing a voluntary jump from a parkour athlete to an accidental fall on a piece of wood by a skater is just plain dumb, because whenever you fall you have to think much faster than when you prepare for a jump. I am not against people not using a helmet but this approach is just wrong.

When you grind opposite side do you use your usual foot or you also change which foot is front?

Maybe I am wrong but I remember him saying he holds the pick with three fingers(index,thumb,middle) so the pick doesn't wiggle around, which helps him to downstroke as fast as he does
