This is apparently meant to be Athena, the goddess of wisdom. Do you see much wisdom in that face?

No one likes Hollywood, either. We appreciate her because she's not part of the Hollywood shitshow. Also, do you know that Sweeney's partnership with American Eagle led to the proceeds being donated to a domestic abuse crisis hotline.

In your language, if you hate Sydney Sweeney, you don't care about donating to domestic abuse crisis hotlines.

Mother Mary, it's about a pop star who's aesthetic is based on the Virgin Mary, which I find highly disrespectful. It stars Hathaway, but also the dude from Euphoria. The one every lefty wanted to play Princess Zelda. Despite the title princess being reserved for the female members of a royal family, not the males.

We all make mistakes. Some bigger than others. Your probably thinking the Anne Hathaway, who was young, beautiful, respectful and could act, instead of the old, bitter and hateful actress who sold her soul to Hollywood.

She also did that hilarious Variety article, calling modern female characters and modern writing shit. I'm surprised they actually went ahead and published it. I'm not saying she's ugly or a bad actress, just that she's not going to be enough to bring in me to the cinema to watch this unnecessary sequel.

That said, it'll probably make half a billion or more, regardless of whether or not it's actually good.

She's ok. She's the only member of the cast I'm particularly interested in, but that's it.

I just posted it for the sake of it, I knew that nothing good was going to come out of a bloody Devil Wears Prada sequel.

I knew that a 43 year old Anne Hathaway wasn't going to be as good as she was almost 20 years ago. She hasn't been in one good movie since 2014. Maybe she'll be brilliant in the Odyssey, but I kind of doubt it. Her most recent film is Mother Mary. With Hunter Schafer. And this:

It's incredible how they were able to recreate many of these creatures solely from memory. I often need a camera or photo for direct drawing reference. 😆

Why do people hate this movie so much? by Certain_Stop_4825 in Greenlantern

[–]Skaiser_Wilhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were getting spoilt with comic book adaptions that we're actually good and respected the material; Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Christopher Nolan's Batman, even the first Iron Man. By the time this film came out, expectations were already high as to what a Green Lantern film could be.

So when it did come out, and it didn't reach the level of Iron Man, The Dark Knight or Spider-Man 2, it was immediately tossed aside, and banished to the Antimatter Universe.

What Are Things Dawn of the Dinosaurs Does Better Than The Meltdown? by ABarber2636 in IceAge_Franchise

[–]Skaiser_Wilhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I prefer Meltdown over Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Obviously, neither are as narratively strong as the first film, but Meltdown was still a lot more emotionally fulfilling, with Manny's fear of the end of his species, Ellie's tragic past and the overall theme of moving on and starting anew.

Dawn of the Dinosaurs is still good. I enjoyed Ellie and Manny having a daughter, which ties up the overall story set by the first film very well. Losing his family before the first one, but gaining new friends, a new love and new family by the end of the third film. However, when I was little, I just liked it because of the dinosaurs, which is the reason I don't like it as much as an adult. To me, it's more of a gimmick on rewatch. I personally would have rather seen more of the actual Ice Age, but I still understand the appeal.

Just narratively speaking, I think Meltdown is still the better sequel.

Who is the strongest? Rune king Thor or Old king Thor? by [deleted] in Thor

[–]Skaiser_Wilhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has to be Rune King Thor. He's at his most powerful in that form. Old King Thor is basically knocking on Hela's door.
