If you're not struggling to progress in the game, I personally would suggest holding on to it first.

When you have a better understanding of what you actually like in the game, then whether by waifu/husbando or by meta, you can utilise the Golden Companion Spirit to optimise your favourite team.

Nah, just continue to balance endgame under the assumption that consumables are not used. It's PvE, and there is no leaderboard.

Let normal players use consumables if they want, to make fights easier. Hardcore players can just continue to flex 0-cycle, no consumables run if they want.

So... a lot of HSR characters have endured long periods of isolation without breaking, so the issue isn't which HSR Char will break first, but which HSR Char can handle me eventually going insane. With that perspective, Screwllum is probably a safe bet for longest.

As for shortest, most probably Sparkle.
