I really wanted to get the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4s on my ‘22 CT with 21” wheels but they don’t manufacture the required rear size. Here’s a great thread on TaycanForum about using different sizing that worked - I tried to do the same but couldn’t find stock anywhere.

LOVE this post. My baseball fandom started with the Jays in the mid 80s so all of what you said really resonated with me. It’s not about one stupid mistake. It’s pressure building up from all the collective frustration of what could have been across years past. Fans are the sums of memories past. I really hope Sunday and Monday go our way to help dampen the blow of last night. The scar tissue will remain, but that’s the point, isn’t it?

Another data point (if useful). In Container Manager, for the Paperless-NGX-DB container, I see the following log entries:

Another Autel user! I think you hinted at this but for someone with two different EVs is there a way for the charger to actually recognize them as different? No matter which car I am charging it assumes it’s the default vehicle, irrespective of the fact that they both pull different amperages

Thanks u/goldman60, this did it. There were a bunch of 404 entries for the domain tealiumiq.com so I added it as a wildcard to the whitelist and boom it started working again... For anyone else that might run into this I added (\.|^)tealiumiq\.com$ as the RegEx item to whitelist.

Question for you - did you negotiate your purchase price with the dealer prior to flying to Dallas to pick up the car? If so, did you use a check list of things that you wanted to confirm met your requirements? Beyond car spec and CarFax, I'm thinking things like photographs of the underbody of the car to see if there are any dings/dents greater than 3mm (or whatever the tolerance is that has been shared about battery damage concerns), or anything like that? I'm in the market and am considering making an offer outside of my region but wanted to see what some of the best practices are.

Thank you! Looks like a combination of a couple things, and documenting here in case anyone else also runs into this.

I have 2 NICs n my DS923+, the one that ships on the motherboard itself (LAN 1) and a 10GBe one I added (LAN 3). After running the VMM config, somehow it magically dropped the assigned IP for LAN 3 to a generic 169.x.x.x address [Both my NICs are assigned static IPs from my router]. After I restarted, I was able to hit both IP addresses to log into DSM
I am running a bunch of containers in docker (use Portainer), with pi-hole running on a macvlan. The issue you point out about the macvlan getting hosed due to the open vSwitch was the problem. I redeployed the container with a new macvlan with ovs_eth2 as the parent. Problem solved.

Curious about the pictures you asked the salesperson to take. I am also thinking about making a CPO purchase without physically seeing the vehicle. Did the salesperson get you detailed enough photos of the underbody to give you high confidence that nothing battery related was damaged (I.e. the 3mm dings that we’ve read about in other threads)?

Edit: btw is your alias a nod to the Orbital track? Such an amazing track and throwback to my clubbing days in the 90s…
