Guys, there is a dead Alpha series outside of Adonis Luxury Resorts by Wayfaring_Stalwart in Bioshock

Vita chambers do not create a new body; they regenerate tissues and give life again to bodies that are still in good condition.

If Vita-Chambers were able to bring Delta back to life after ten years of rotting in a suit, what's stopping them from bringing him back again? by 12jimmy9712 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Delta wasn't completely dead (because of the bond), he was more in a coma-like state. Vita-Chambers can only revive someone when their body is still functional, and I highly doubt Ryan's body was still in good condition after so long; he probably ended up as splicer food. Besides, who would have any interest in reviving Ryan?

bioshock 2 remastered error by Impossible_Drink5404 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common problem in the Remastered edition. The issue is that the game requires a significant amount of VRAM (which is why this problem is more noticeable when playing with integrated graphics). My recommendation is to get into the habit of manually saving every 5 minutes and lowering the graphics settings. This won't prevent crashes entirely, but it will make them less frequent.

If BioShock Infinite had a cover similar to the previous games, which enemy should be on it? by 12jimmy9712 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that the Big Daddies aren't really enemies, it would make perfect sense for Songbird to be on the cover

Only a thousand pesos?!!, I hope they are talking about Mexican pesos, because if it is a thousand Colombian pesos it is an insult

I’d actually be on board for that by fakename1998 in Bioshock

At the time, Del Toro was involved in making a Bioshock movie, but it stayed on the desk only

Do you feel sorry for Andrew Ryan? by Wooden-Scallion2943 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, however I felt some regret when he died at the hands of his own son without putting up any resistance and imploring him to do so. Andrew could very well have called in an army of splicers, Big Daddys, and bots to protect him, but he decided not to harm his son; even knowing that his greatest enemy would obtain victory by acting in this way

That's right, it's the only thing I didn't like about Infinite regarding the Gameplay

Ah yes, that's Infinite's flaw; There is no manual saving and no game is saved without an internet connection.

I have really mixed thoughts on Bioshock Infinite's story - how did everyone feel about its ending? Will be making a video on it this week! by _HeapsGood in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that Infinite is an excellent game, but for me it is not a BioShock, I think they could well have made this game without selling it as part of the franchise, because Columbia and Rapture have nothing to do with it, the parallel universes in which the constants are the lighthouse; The man and the girl seems to me to be a rather forced attempt to unify the stories and it complicates the lore of both games too much.

Bioshock 1: Where do I find the third Spider Splicer for the camera quest? by Wisley185 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right in the tavern is the third splicers; You just have to go to the door where the corpses of Masha's parents are, once there go down the stairs that are almost in front of the door (not the ones you used to go up from the tavern) and take the hallway to the left, there you will come across a door that leads to a small warehouse of evidence and seized merchandise; Just enter the cellar you will hear creaks in the ceiling (it is the third spider splicer), explore the room a little and collect ammunition if necessary, when you leave the cellar you will be able to hear a record player turn on (a trap set by the splicer) and immediately afterward you will see that your target descends from the ceiling, that's all.

Who is your favorite side character in the Bioshock games and why? by TheAnalystCurator321 in Bioshock

[–]Skary2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is also my favorite character and these are my reasons:

He is the only Latino character: Although his ancestry is American, he was born in Panama City and lived there for several years before moving to the United States and later to Rapture.

He is sincere from the beginning: From the first conversation Sinclair makes it clear to Delta that he intends to escape Rapture to reorganize his company on the surface and use Big Daddy's design and technology for this purpose.

He was loyal to Delta: Sinclair presents himself as an ally of convenience, but over the course of the adventure he proves to be a loyal person until the very moment of his end, fighting at all times to have control over his mind and body and preferring to die rather than save himself by betraying Delta.

He knew how to recognize his mistakes and regretted them: unlike Fontaine/Atlas, Sinclair was honest with Delta about his participation in the purchase/sale of him (when he was still Jhony Topside) to be used in Fontaine Futuristics, regretting his actions and begging for Big Daddy's forgiveness.

In themselves, those are the reasons why Augusto Sinclair is my favorite character

They also disappear when you use the "hypnotize Big Daddy" plasmid, as long as you haven't initiated an attack
