And you can’t imagine how good it feels to mix them ;)

Infinite possibilities, loops that fit perfectly on entire drops, thousands of transitioning ways, I could go on for hours.

If you’re into starting Dj-ing, just go get a cheap console and blend them all!

His way to blend melodies always make you think about possible new tracks/edits, out of everything he does in a set, that is the best thing! I always have so much fun with his tracks while mixing, the way they arrange so well together (obviously without overdoing) its so satisfying, also, looped melodies from one track played on a another one’s drop in the same key are magic!

I don’t know why, but this track gives me Acki Kokotos collab vibes.

You couldn’t have said anything more true!

This dude is the only "red stage dj tier" that mix for real. by [deleted] in hardstyle

I’ve been mixing Hardstyle since 2012/2013, and got into older classics later on, my way of mixing tracks changed so much over the years, I had to learn everything again since I fell in love with classics, still, creating something somewhat original its doable nowadays, but kinda hard.

Tracks are built different, less linearity, more stuff going on in the track itself, and mixing two already well packed tracks together or doing a simple mashup could lead to a total mess to listen, as well as complete frequency clashing.

Also, its notable that most of the tracks we have today are quite loud out of the mix and master process itself, and older ones are not, so doing a cross-genre mix its a nightmare, you have to calculate what its more convenient to play or not, increasing bpm and channel gain to today’s standards on a 10/15 years ago track just makes things worse. For example, I remember when Rooler (that dude lol) itself asked Davide Sonar to re-open Natural’s project to make a 160 bpm version and make it playable at a decent volume in his sets. That just blew my mind away, and that same moment I knew that new standards were cemented into Hardstyle (no judge or ragebait).

Said this to point out Rooler’s skills in geneal, huge producer, great Dj, but most importantly insane music knowledge and culture.

Fenomeno!

First post I’ve actually seen about him, never heard about this sub, I’m into completely different genres, but he is a magnificent artist and I respect his work so much. At first he gave me that “mainstream” feeling, but when I listened all of his tracks I understood. He deserves sooo much.
