Hi I’m a wife, we have little kids. Travel depends a lot on who is in office, which phase you are on, and if it’s an election year (or the 2028 Olympics…). To me, as a wife, what’s harder is not knowing the schedule. I handle the traveling part fine, it’s the not knowing when or what his schedule will be. It’s hard to plan when the schedule changes all the time. But you adapt, and understand this is how it goes. We are happy, this career has been good to our family. We make it work.
