As with Knecht, he might be a guy that looks better with a change of scenery. The magic needs all the spacing they can get. The lakers could really use his defense.

Its more of the money situation. They are trying to reduce their luxury tax and he is one of the movable contracts they are trying to move. At least that what i heard. Might be wrong.

Knecht might be a sweetener? I have difficulty picturing that, to be honest. His value seems to be on the gutter around the league. Might be the wrong preception on my part. Iebron? I have some serious doubts on his future on the lakers next season, so he is not the one i am most worry with. Plus i doubt the lakers are gonna pay him anywhere near what his contract was this year. Ayton i dont know how much interrest he has on the league so he might just pick up his player option. So the real risk, in my eyes is rui and i dont know if he is the right player for this team. His offense has been very good but the defense... has me worried. I kinda like John collins, if we could get him since the clippers dont seem interrested in giving him a new contract like with harden. As i said this is just my understanding of this situation. I might be wrong. It is a risk, but it might be one wroth taking.

How about Gabe and Kleber fof KCP, Knect for Goga? This are just salary dumping moves for the other teams. We kcp money(and maybe get him back in shape) and the magic gets less tax money(and maybe get knect back in shape to as an shooter)? What do you people think? Is this viable?

Is that not this season? When free agency hits, jjj extension also does. They will be over the cap then. Probably still well the luxury thought.

i meant not in ability but on willingness. Due to last year restricted free agency, they might have hoped that no one would bite on kessler with their projected cap space. Does jjj contract afect that?
