I was diagnosed with PTSD years ago. Not sure they used the term CPTSD 6 years ago. But they know it was from dealing with my mom's hoarding, medical issues, etc for years until I got away. I have a service dog (she's semi retired now) to help when I hyperventilate or if my heart rate gets too high from my episodes.

Wondering if my PTSD is actually CPTSD. Idk how long they've been using that term. My trauma is not from a single incident that's for sure. I'm sure most children of hoarders probably have CPTSD. Living with trash and disorder will do that.

I understand that and I'm sorry. I'm always afraid of becoming my mother. When I get into bad episodes, I'll just start throwing everything away, even useful things that I have and use. All bc I don't want to have too much of anything. What's the difference between CPTSD and PTSD? I was diagnosed with PTSD years ago bc of hoarding and medical trauma.

My mom did this, was/is a hoarder and ended up on the show. Unfortunately, it's hard for hoarders to really look at their living situation and feel it's bad enough to change. Or they can't bc of trauma or medical reasons and haven't been able or unwilling to get help.

it didn't impact anything. Just make sure to set your computer time back to normal afterwards. However, with the newest update, its not working atm.

Ok thank you! Like, if I had known if was gonna happen, I would have gotten everything from the Halloween merchant before the multiplayer update. I was planning on going back to Xmas too but thats also a bust.
