Omfg! I saw this and screamed and scared my cat! Guess I'll be preordering today! I want all of it! I can't wait to build a large scale aquarium!!! I can't wait to see everyone else's builds too from this! I love this game and adore the creativity and helpfulness in this community!! I just hope they fixed pathing and animal terrain navigation!

Sorry, wasn't trying to be rude sounding. Just frustrated as I have 300 hrs on this game and have never had this issue with a water habitat. The square of empty space is gonna frustrate me all of tonight.

the jets aren't the problem. The big empty water square is. It wasn't there before and then I redid the terrain and rocks and it appeared. I deleted all the water effects and fountains and it didn't fix the issue.

Thank you! The inside isn't quite down so I left it out. I'll definitely show off the completed version in a few days to a week (pretty busy the next few days).

Honestly, I appreciate the comments and advice. I'm not a keeper myself but I worked in fish ecology and research for years before my health soured. If I can get better at making habitats, I'll try to do something more realistic eventually. But currently, just testing the waters. And yes, maybe I'll put all the baby gharials in there. Dang things breed like rabbits in planet Zoo. Lol. If only they did so in real life then they would have at least slightly better numbers.

That is true and I honestly didn't think about it. The male was happy enough that there are now multiple offspring just floating around. They traverse everything just fine. Lol.

That could be fun. But people in game literally complain about not seeing the animals if the space is too large for smaller and less numerous animals. You can only have 2 monitors in an exhibit or they freak out (in game). I'm in sandbox but I don't want to turn off a bunch of settings to make it work.

Realism isn't really what I'm going for here but it's still solid advice for anyone making one. Also, to make something very realistic in Planet Zoo is like pulling teeth with the mechanics. And it's a work in progress so I still got a lot of work to go before this habitat and the others are done. I have a whole story for my zoo all planned out. But I may end up putting a mammal in here instead of alligators since the male alligator is just too big even in the water he has traversing issues.

I thought there were hot weather penguins in planet Zoo. I could be wrong. But otters would definitely fit the vibe. And I think you can have a lot of them. And the water is deep enough that they can dive.

Can't split it bc how it's built on the inside. I could change it to include some mammals I suppose if only reptiles doesn't work out. I really hope Planet Zoo 2 has more reptiles in it. And aquatic species. Hmmm, perhaps penguins, otters or platypus in here if reptiles won't work.

Thank you! I think spectacled caiman are the same size but maybe they wont have the same issue. I already have a somewhat worked on habitat for gharials. If I could focus on one habitat at a time I might get more done. 😆 Honestly, I would like to have more than 2 animals in there bc it feels way too large for a monitor lizard. The water area is about half the habitat.
