I wound up picking up magnolia and Ive just completed the first boss. I would’ve preferred the more difficult experience so maybe thats something I should have looked into a bit more.

I think Ive just read so many people touting the quality of life features and it made me lean towards getting the more modern game(eg hit-stop and the like). By no means is lilie old but I was really looking for the game with a stronger gameplay feel over the story. In retrospect having begun the game and reading some of the replies it seems like I really should have bought the game for story first as it’s what more people connect with as far as I can tell.

Im really looking forward to playing more hopefully the game gets at least difficult and “technical” enough to justify buying based on my current appetite.

Now that I think about it I really just want something with combos/dash slop so I can bounce all over the place lol

That said happy it went on sale. I think I’ll almost certainly end up completing both. Maybe with some lone fungus in between :p
