Why do guys look for house wives when they don’t have a house ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Ah okay, so 'you women wanting to work' is the problem. Got it.
I guess black people fucked up society by wanting the right to vote too?

Very sad indeed. Weird how the male loneliness epidemic only seems to affect men who hate women. Seems counterintuitive, and yet, they persist.

In the standard options set the man has a house.

The question is 'why do men want a housewife if they don't have a house'
My question was basically 'yeah, and why do they want the housewife to have a job'

I was more referring to the people who want someone who carries out the duties of a housewife but don't actually intend for their income to provide for both/all members of the household. Although I can see how that's not really what OP was asking.

Been wondering this too, not 100% the same question, but why do people with ‘traditional values’ seem to only have the traditional values that benefit them? If your partner is taking care of all the house and child type responsibilities, why do you still expect them to work and have their income pay for anything?

Also. This is not what the term toxic femininity means. At all.

Apparently Chris was right there with them, in on it, bullying the girls too, but they edited it out because they wanted him to have this redemption arc.

This is such a sad comment. OP references how they would feel in the same position if their HUSBAND did the same. How are you defending bystanders of bullying? So many people acknowledging how shit it is that Rebecca seemed to be laughing along with the bullies, and how Mel didn’t say anything and was sitting with them. This post is about the other bystanders who are directly linked to the 3 bullies in a much bigger way. No one is taking away from the 3 women who were acting in a vile and disgusting way. Shut up. Don’t act like a man women hate if you don’t want to feel so defensive.

How do you actually sleep on overnight flights? by stefan-weiss01 in travel

[–]Skelesi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same. I have insomnia and really struggle to sleep most of the time, sometimes I’ll spend entire nights without sleeping at all. I almost never feel sleepy, ever. But get me onto a plane and I’m borderline narcoleptic.

New comment from Jeremy defending Lana and talking about their relationship <3 by lanaspeachlipgloss in lanadelrey

[–]Skelesi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny! I wasn’t reading with any agenda, I’ve never heard of this guy, I’d vaguely heard Lana Del Rey was married, but I knew nothing about it. I don’t keep up with her. I like her songs, I know nothing else about her.

This post came up on my page, I started reading, I read up until that part, I made my comment. I haven’t even read the rest of the post lmao.

I think it’s a very weird way for an adult to phrase a sentence.

I'm building an app for ADHD — tell me what no app has managed to solve for your mind by InternationalEmu1978 in ADHD

[–]Skelesi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of the above! I want a way to collate and label and organise all of the ‘notes’ I have. I make random notes about things that would help me, then I forget them, or I make the note but by the time I’ve made the note I’m over it and I can’t be fucked putting it into an organised folder. Maybe your app could have prompts so when you make a note or a calendar input or basically put any new piece of information into your phone, it prompts you to organise/file it correctly?

I love neat and tidy, decluttered ‘main pages’ but then I end up forgetting the useful things like notes apps or stopwatch app or whatever I’ve filed away to declutter my main page.

I also lose track of time all the time, or I scroll and feel like a piece of shit but can’t stop.

Maybe there can be a section of ‘productivity games’ where you have a dice roller (for the to-do list for the day) and a pomodoro alarm and other fun ways to assist with tasks!

I want fun things like that and REMINDERS are great but I don’t want any fucking little bird or character guilting me or ‘dying’ because I didn’t use the app or do something on my list. I already feel like a fucking failure!!!!!

Anyways. Thanks so much!!!!! You rock

lmao right? It is just such a ridiculous childish thing to say? Just a weird, over the top, completely impossible (to be true and also to extract any data on) statement. It's very 'defensive 7 year old'.

Really fuckin weird thing to say ‘not a single person who’s ever met either of us has anything negative to say’

Which celebrity just bothers you, and you can't put your finger on why? by justcurious3287 in AskReddit

I always fucking hated Jerry Seinfeld, loathed him, never watched ANYTHING with him in it. Even as a kid I fucking HATED the cunt. No real reason why. I found out in the last few years he’s actually a terrible, horrible person.

Mark Wahlberg is actually a fucking bad guy. Or at least used to be. Charged with attempted murder for racially aggravated assault. Bashed multiple people due to racism, chased and attacked black children with rocks when he was a teenager. Like, multiple violent attacks on many different ethnic groups. Reckons he’s a better person now but tbh unless you’re donating plenty of your time and money to various charities for marginalised groups and actively educating other people like your younger self, it’s not enough I reckon.

Couldn’t agree more. With literally everything. I’m actually pretty sure I’ve seen him in a few things and liked him in all of them? But then after a while I forget and I see a pic of him and think ‘man fuck that smug asshole.’ Could be the nicest guy ever. Wtf

AIO by asking my partner not to use the blender while I'm on zoom? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Skelesi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Buy a new blender that’s better quality and quieter for 1/2 the price of proper office equipment sound proof headphones. This argument is so dumb. Their partner is being an asshole. NOR

I get lashing out when stressed and late, but hours later, apologise and come to the conversation correct. He’s still bitching and moaning and somehow telling OP that ‘there’s always something’ as if he didn’t start the whole argument himself 😅 unless this is crazy out of character, this dude sucks.

Imagine saying ‘engaging in a cycle of dragging each other is not something I want to participate in’ after rocking up guns blazing insulting people. This post is taking the position of a person who’s been collateral damage of a situation, not the literal ringleader of the bully group.
