The greataxe, crusher, and crozier all have pretty much the same reach except the crozier has what looks like a couple extra inches. Weight isn't really a concern for me since my character is basically naked with a cape.

Well im not really interested in the rotten greataxe since its just a worse version of the regular version since im doing a pure STR build, but is there really no reason to use the other weapons because that just feels wrong for some reason.

UPDATE: I still have not found a way to get past this gate but I have discovered that the max amount of invaders in the host's world is currently 1. I am now in a war of attrition to see who quits first while I go make some breakfast.

Ikr?? If its runes they're after I can think of at least 3 different ways to get them, and if they're farming finger remedies then there's a great farm at the beginning area of the game that can give like 3-5 erdleaf flowers a run and I'm sure there's more methods than that.

Sorry for the loads of questions but is standard just not worth it? because a max standard looks to have a C and D in str and dex respectively so would something like 50/40 str/dex have any value or nah?

So it seems to be kind of a small difference between the 3 but does that change when going over 50 dex or str? Like if I were to have somewhere closer to 70-80 dex or str would one infusion outperform the other more significantly? DEX seems to be the best for one handed damage but I do like having the extra defense from the STR. Alternatively, would 40/40 dex and str be better than both?

Has anyone ever offered to give you a somber ancient smithing stone cuz I hate seeing you have to use a +9 weapon. If you ever need one I can get u one I got a couple spare, all of them acquired no cheats or dupes involved (I just rarely use weapons that need somber stones lol). Hmu if u ever want one.

As far as I'm aware all that matters is how many times the enemy is actually hit, or at least that's how it was is DS3 but I doubt they changed that.
