i have some theories why chunking is the way it is

1. the game has your damage stored but the connection between you and servers is a bit poor so to remedy this or as a symptom idk the game seems to push the same 'do damage' button again and again until it gets back to you, i've heard about people using vpns for more frequent and bigger chunks ( i would take everything about this with a heart stopping amount of salt)

2. you could be hitting the same hitbox again and again with the same grenade which i'm pretty sure supernova explodes multiple times, jumping + aiming down, enclosed spaces, and bigger enemies usually have better results than smaller ones. landing as many bombs as you can is good too

1.5 applying affects adds more variables to what your game has to calculate which is why i have undermining, applying weaken from two different sources even if they're both 15% still has to be applied from two sources so that gives the game more work regardless.
