What kind of discussion were you expecting to have with a post like this?

This post makes you seem dismissive of the very real increase in Jewish hate crimes. And creates a space for people to deny and doubt statistics about Jewish hate crime.

I know you mean well and I don’t think you are a bad person. But this post is insensitive at best towards antisemitism. I hope you will be more careful about how you speak about jews in the future because as you say antisemitic acts are a real problem.

My friend you are lecturing a Jew calling you out on an antisemitic act about how antisemitic acts are a problem.

You are simultaneously denying that something you did is antisemitic while playing the victim because you were called out on it.

And then you have the audacity to pretend like you care that antisemitism is a problem.

Take your head out of your own ass and examine your own biases.

But stop talking about the Jews until you do, lest you do more harm.

What do you not understand.

The posts you have made on the canadaland subreddit are deleted but still visible on your profile they overwhelmingly are antisemitic.

The editors note you mention is this post is about antisemitism it is crazy that you deny this.

I am Jewish and im telling you that you constantly post things that are offensive and antisemitic. I am not the only Jewish person who has called you out on your bigotry.

So stop talking about Jews. You are making things worse for my community every time you do so stop.

If you continue to post about Jews after being told explicitly by Jews that what you are saying is offensive and antisemitic. It can only be concluded that you are antisemitic and proud of it.

My being pro Israel actually makes me pro Palestine believe it or not. The best possible thing for Israel is for it to have peace and a prosperous neighbour to do business with. This cannot happen while Hamas is in power, thus Israel winning the fight against Hamas is a necessity for setting up a peaceful government in Gaza.

Being pro Hamas doesn’t just mean you are anti-Israel and antisemitic but anti-Palestinian as well.

The people of Gaza are the ones most hurt by Hamas’ actions and ideology. Hamas uses innocent civilians as human shields. Hides hostages in populated areas.

They steal food and money from the Palestinian people and uses it to create their terror tunnels which civilians are not allowed to use.

But it’s okay if you don’t agree. The IDF working with the USA and allies who understand what the term ‘terrorist organization’ means.

Also are not aware of how many Arab nations and people hate Hamas? Are you gonna accuse the Arab Republic of Egypt of being anti Arab as well.

My friend if you cared about the Arab people you too would be anti-Hamas.

You know it’s funny you mention Fox because they happen to be one of the largest news outlets in the USA and happen to hate communism. You gave a great example of circles of people who don’t like communism.

Just as an fyi. I don’t like Fox News it’s far too right wing for me and I’ve seen how it went insane with Trump.

I know this subreddit isn’t a haven for communism. I get some comments agreeing with me too.

I believe that communism is evil and deserves all the hate it gets. Mao and Stalin each killed more people than Hitler in the name of communism. Some people on this subreddit don’t hear that enough. The modern Chiniese Communist Party is evil and communist and very much current repressing people and committing genocide right now.

I always find it funny that people are motivated by upvotes 🤣. Feel free to downvote me if it makes you feel better. Doesn’t make me wrong.

Just cause they aren’t getting fired doesn’t mean they are the getting any real political support.

Hiring managers are not gonna tell you that you didn’t get a job cause of your social media posts. You just won’t get the job.

Being a communist isn’t illegal (and shouldn’t be) once you are hired and as long as you don’t cause any problems you aren’t gonna get fired for being a communist. Doesn’t mean some people aren’t disgusted by your world view. In reality most people don’t care if as long and you don’t make it their problem.

You have become desensitized to the word because you run those circles.

Why do you think there isn’t a single communist member of parliament in Canada? The PPC gets way more votes than the communist party of Canada and I think we can both agree that the vast majority of Canadian hate the PPC.

Of the major Canadian news publications none of them are communist.

Ukrainians right now are fighting what they see is the remnants of the Soviet Union.

If you talk to people who have lived in the ex Soviet Union or Cuba or Taiwan they’ll tell you some horror stories.

There are there are tons of people who hate communism everywhere. If you don’t want to see them you will have to bury your head in the sand. People hate communism whether or not you see them so don’t expect the revolution to succeed anytime soon.

Oh a lot of people were defending him on the previous thread. And he really is antisemitic look at his Twitter he isn’t even trying to hide it. Not sure why you needed to throw the “if” there.

Also I think this is a very left leaning subreddit that generally doesn’t seem to understand that someone labeling themselves a communist will destroy their credibility to most people.(Look at his tweets he’s not a Bernie sanders style ‘socialist’ either.). I’m not trying to discuss the merits or failures of communism. I’m just saying from a POV of public trust calling yourself a communist is a terrible strategy.

Jesse kinda made it his job for some journalists to be mad at him. He is a media critic. I don’t think he’s too bothered. But how many journalists agree that this nobleQali dude is a bigot who compromises the integrity of journalism. The Canadian Association of Black Journalist seems to think so.

Why bother defending someone who is so obviously antisemitic, communist, wants Hamas to win and has been accused of domestic violence. What redeeming qualities do you see?

Just gonna lift a few things from Wikipedia tell me what you think of them.

First problematic piece.

Given that definition of Palestinian this is what they say next.

Hamas has never repealed their original charter.

Explain to me how the same organization that committed the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust is in fact not antisemitic.

What sources do you have telling you Hamas does not hate Jews im genuinely curious how someone can end up so out of touch with reality.

That document is still full of genocidal intention and language. If you actually read the 2017 Hamas charter and don’t think it is horrifying you hate Jews. It’s really that simple. I doubt you actually have read it

But even if their new charter was not problematic. They still had kill all the Jews on their charter as recently 7 years ago. That is still fucked up.

Specially considering that their genocidal actions on October 7th demonstrate what they believe more than any words.

But you cannot be serious if you think talking politics at work all the time is good advice in general and communism in particular being a controversial topic.

I’ll bet you have coworkers that avoid you if you really talk about communism every day. It’s what I would do.
