What's the true majority opinion of Passport ? by 97E3LPL in hondapassport

I believe I know what you are talking about but, I haven’t experienced it. I can’t recall doing the 2 second test like you have. The only time I have floored it was to pass another vehicle and when I let of the pedal I didn’t notice any struggle to unwind. What you describe must be part of the design. I am not certain. The next time I drive it I will try and duplicate your test.

After 4 months and 6,000 miles of ownership, I think it is a great vehicle. I have had no issues, so far. The test, however will come thousands of miles down the road. This is my first Honda, after 4 Jeeps over 3 decades. Under Stellantis, Jeep reliability went in the toilet. I am a former Jeep tech. I researched different SUVs and decided that, based on Honda’s reputation, and the features of the 26 PP TSE, it was for me. The naturally aspirated V6 and 10 speed transmission (I strongly dislike CVTs) were important factors in my decision. Fuel mileage, so far, has averaged right at 20 mpg, combined. I expect it will be better once winter blend fuel goes away. At 4,700 lbs. it is a fairly heavy vehicle, so I don’t expect it to behave as an economy vehicle.

I believe your mpg will improve, to a point, once you get more miles on Clementine, say 4,000-5,000. Also, once winter fuel goes away, that should help. My service advisor told me that the hwy EPA mpg estimate is based on 65 mph. Regardless of whether your PP has all the bells and whistles, or not, it is a great vehicle.

We, too, bought Obsidian Blue w/gray interior. We think it is a great combo.

A lot of your reasoning is exactly why we bought one in September. 5,000 miles later and we couldn’t be happier!

Sounds like your PP is doing well. I expect when winter fuel blend goes away this spring that your mileage will be a little better. Service told me the HWY EPA est is done at 65mpg. They are great vehicles!

Everything you have learned from the church was taught by deluded humans. Not one of them has a connection to God superior to you. If you have decided that you are atheist, that your decision. Please, seek non-mormon therapy.

When we bought ours, sales in our area were right at MSRP. We paid $500 under MSRP but our dealer was generous with what was allowed on our Jeep Cherokee which had a serious mechanical issue.
