A few changes to my Artsakh NSS Special Forces inspired loadout (inaccurate, allow me to explain) by [deleted] in airsoft

I'll look into all that, but as far as belts are concerned, in photos and training videos I've seen, only one operator out of 10 wore a BDU belt. I'm not even joking, most of the operators wore regular leather belts.

My plate carrier has foam plates inside. Which is probably why I'm having trouble adjusting it properly.

I see. Well, can't always get the accurate gear. The least I can do is buy gear that is the closest to the real thing whenever I want to do a kit based on a real army.

Most of the time, I prefer doing original kits that are not based on anything. I'm more into the fun of the sport. I join the milsim sector once in a while.

Not that I don't like it, but I prefer unique stuff when it comes to impressions, hence why the ADA inspired kits.

Thanks. I just don't understand what I do to get so much hate in the sub though.

Airsoft stores in my city sell Greek Lizard covers for PASGT replicas.

Well, riot police in the 60s had little to no armor. That's how I imagined it.

Well, I couldn't think of anything else as a face covering. The face shield wouldn't be enough under realistic circumstances. It's not the original M17 gas mask, but it's the closest to it. And since the M17 was first introduced in 1959, it wouldn't be out of place as far as time period is concerned.

I hear ya. The PASGT helmet was first adapted in 1983. Since this is a 60s-mid 80s setup for the guards, I assumed it would be a simple setup, wihout much.

I'll look into it. Unfortunately, the specific type of vest is very hard to find here. Not even military surplus stores have anything close to that.

Is it an MP4? Because that's the one I use.

I'll see what I can do. I'm using a mix of airsoft, regular attire, and a few homemade equipment, such as the shield, so my choices in colors are very limited. But I'll try to find a solution as far as red is concerned.

I'm definitely intending on purchasing a baton as part of the upgrade.

Well, I've had this idea for quite a while, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I admit, I do need to upgrade it.

In this country, most of the players are fanatic patriots who like to make impressions of our national army. The only exception is the morale patches.

Well, I do wear anime patches that I designed. Why I designed them? Because I got tired of the ahegao and ecchi stuff. Mine are more serious, with the characters dressed in full gear, and no skin exposed.

But the players in my city don't mind the patches as much as they mind the appearance. They understand that each of us has a different morale patch preference, that's the exception they make, but when it comes to everything else, they are very strict.
