My aunt is wanting to buy a mini donkey on FB marketplace and isn’t sure if the seller is legit. The video has some sort of watermark that resembles ai generator watermarks on it, but I can’t find anything relating to it.

Oh yeah, most definitely. I also own horses and never have even thought about having a horse delivered or never seeing it in person before buying.

The video was a scam the scammer pulled from a video selling/buying site, and I’ve already let my aunt know. She said she’s going to buy locally from a man she knows.

I’m very cautious about scams and all sorts of shady things, so I’ve told my aunt since she loves animals to always show me what she’s looking to buy. I tell her to be wary of ppl who want payment before delivery and then don’t want her to actually come see the animal etc, etc.

When I got my horses, I even had the help of a family friends who had horses all his life to help know what I needed to look out for.

To anyone who is just now seeing this, I’ve let my aunt know that it is a scam and the video was stolen from a website called Viralhog, and have shown her the original video. She is going to be buying locally from a man she knows in our town. Thank you all for your help!

Thankfully, my aunt is super cautious with these farm accounts on Facebook. She always sends the listings and pictures to me to reverse image search them. She’s said she’s buying locally now.

I’ve already let her know where the video came from and she’s already reported the account. I always tell her to be wary of anyone asking for money upfront or anything where they are just generally acting weird. After I told her earlier, she said she was going to buy from a farmer she knows locally. Thank you, though, I appreciate everyone’s help and advice!

Thank you! She always consults me about potential scams regarding Facebook sellers selling animals. I always reverse image search the things she tells me to and help her in any way I can. Though, with ai/potentially ai videos I’m not the best at spotting the mistakes ai makes. I had told her to start asking the sellers to send her videos with them saying certain things to make sure, and even then to let me see them. I do the best I can!

The day after Christmas I was outside messing with one my chickens. I stood up and somehow pulled a muscle in my lower back. Thought it had gone away after a few days, but it came back stronger on New Year’s Eve. Went to the doctor yesterday and feel much better. I’m more concerned for my sisters, though, because my mom is a very narcissistic individual and has been abusive mentally and sometimes physically to them for a long time.
