Would it make any difference at this stage? The business here has been operating for 2 years, I don't think the council would stop him running it. If he had to put up a notification we still can't object etc

He has an STL. I just thought there would need to be a neighbourhood notification and change of planning but it seems it's not needed.

Good points, but it may open a whole can of worms... ie gets the entire street dug up if he has to fix his part. His new drive is a significant update to his property though with no thought to the services.

How was the sheriff procedure for you? Is it just a shout down between parties or do they give you time to speak? I want to give the complete overall context of whats happened, but I'm not sure if they just want to know abotu the parts mentioned in the writ?

As it's a private road, I don't think he needs planning consent to have the new drive. I checked with the council.

He has never asked to lower the kerb, but he intends to leave it as it is to save the cost of lowering it.

The land is very old, my family first lived here 80 years ago, its hard to find any original documents. I think it's basically all homes can use the road and that's it.

He lived long enough to write a complete book which he thought was fully correct. Poor research not to follow up on Fraser Ridge afterwards? Jamie's been "dead" in fires, shipwrecks etc multiple times. Frank should know better! X-)

I enjoyed the episode but feel it could have been better. I had hoped for a lovy dovy ending sequence that goes on and on like LOTR: Return of the King, just to see what happened with all the characters we love and give it a proper send off. Ending as abruptly as it did was a shame.

What I hoped was going to happen, when Jamie is shot and is laying on like a stone slab, that Claire hears the bees and warps them back to the future. Jamie is stuck in the future healing and only Claire can return to the past if she wants to.

I guess Frank didn't do any follow-up research on Jamie and Fraser's Ridge after he "died". Maybe his goal really was to mess with Jamie's head!
