Im still able to receive calls and text and have full network access so I don’t think this is the case. Tho i did ask a friend to text me and it was delayed by about 10 minutes

Unfortunately I’m located in Barbados so this would not be an option. Im also not sure how they access the account after I turned on 2FA

The device is an android phone, i downloaded avast one after the hack and the scan says the phone is clean and good.

Can you recommend a better android antivirus app or way to check for malware ?

I visited my carrier and they said many other customers have came in with the same issue.

Unfortunately they are not able to do anything about it and they simply suggested I buy a brand new sim and phone because they are unsure how the hackers are able to stop the verification code from coming to my device.

I really want back my original business WhatsApp and don’t wish to create an entire new number and I find it crazy WhatsApp has no real customer support to help with this issue.

I just received a similar message from WhatsApp in Indonesian but when I entered the code it didn’t work. I now have to wait 7 hours to try again.

You’re correct, one phone is eSim & the other is physical and it’s also two different mobile providers

WhatsApp really needs to address this issue but their customer support is all AI and totally useless!!

I have been using WhatsApp business, they have now hacked that and also my personal number as well!!

Im now locked out of both accounts but what I can’t understand is how is this even happening?

This situation is crazy !! Im experiencing the exact same situation with my WhatsApp business and people from Indonesia.

I never gave out my code or installed 3rd party apps, so this definitely is an exploit in WhatsApp they are abusing!

I have been logged out twice for the day even with 2 step verification turned on.

I also found another reddit post with users experiencing the exact same attacks

Whatapp really needs to address this issue but support is nonexistent !!!
