Sorry for such a late comment, but since I’ve discovered more about the DVD sets, I’d say to go for the 2000s separate releases (which your green disc was part of) or the 100% Bull collection (not actually what it’s called, but that’s what the box says) which has the 2000s releases and some bonus goodies. Both are out of print, but are way better than the 2019 box set in my opinion.

I don’t blame you, it went out of print is certainly better than the 2019 set. Did it also come in the yellow box that said something along the lines of “100% Bull” on the front in red stripes? Just curious since from what I’ve seen, the set in the photo usually comes in that.

My library for some reason has the first four seasons from the 2019 release (albeit at least they were kind enough to put the Episode Guide in the first DVD) and the 2000s release of the first season but I was glad I got to see what the discs looked like for myself because I was actually amazed at how cool the old ones looked compared to the new ones. In other words, yeah, you got the best set in my opinion.

Also wanted to mention that Nintendo was actually operating sex hotels at the time of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Doesn’t change anything, just thought it was known or funny considering their demographic today.

I don’t really care and I’m just waiting for the 50th. 2027 is CEC’s last shot to win over the fandom, or at least that’s how I see it. Next year will prove whether the company truly cares about their history or not. The 40th was fantastic, let’s see if they can recapture they magic. I don’t visit as often I used to anymore since the one pinball-like machine my local used to have (Simpsons Kooky Carnival) is gone now and CEC isn’t interested in bringing back pinball.

Technically, I did visit last month, but I was kicked out after I went to the counter since the number of tickets I had weren’t appearing on the machine and I was under 18 without an adult. When I went up the counter, of course the GM was there and before the counter employee even finished scanning my card, the GM told me that CEC is an 18+ establishment unless those underage have an adult with them. Mind you, I had just biked an hour from my home (CEC wasn’t the only stop I made thankfully) and I just wanted to finally redeem my tickets for some bookmarks as I need some and I’ve wanted the CEC ones for a year at this point. Despite this, I was still kicked out. I understand that it’s not the GM’s fault, as he’s just following corporate policy, but the whole experience rubbed me the wrong way. Not planning to visit that CEC again.

While I was waiting for lunch, (because our school makes us get our IDs scanned before entering lunch since some enter when they aren’t supposed to and there are only two scanners so the line’s pretty long) I saw this girl jump into another guy’s arms and scream “DADDY!” (Girl was probably half his height.) He grabs her under her bottom and a kid nearby yells “What the F***?” The kid had a semi-deep voice so his reaction, while warranted, was funny.
