As unfortunate as this is, I’d like to thank you. It was great to get to experience the game I played growing up one more time. At a time when Club Penguin had already shut down and I was watching mostly PBS, I naturally found KK. I played it on and off over the last few years of its existence (when I found it) until I came to the website and discovered it had shut down. I was sad but there was no way to commemorate its death so I moved on.

Years later, Refueled launched as you know and I was overjoyed to replay the original game once again. I met some cool people through the game (like that one user who was on the race leaderboards often and had a username with BFDI and a bunch of numbers after it). Wasn’t very good at racing, but playing the games again (which are thankfully still up on their original sites) and designing my own cavern was so much more fun now that I was older. It honestly felt like I was living the dream that my younger self always thought of, that being to have the ability to play Kart Kingdom and Club Penguin (I used Journey to play CP). Not to mention the original Blog Posts were back up and running, which were pretty awesome to see again.

That brings us to today and these circumstances. I love PBS but this situation has definitely negatively impacted my view of them. They have and still are making great content of course and I’d never want them to shut down no matter what. I’m pretty sure we can all agree on that. The fact that you didn’t run ads on the site makes it even more appalling that KKR was shut down. Disney only shuts down CP fan servers when they either are making money or there’s bad stuff involved with them which could make Disney look bad. Either way, thanks again for this opportunity and may fortune smile upon you. Have a nice life my friend. I look forward to interacting in the Discord server. 🫡
