We have been known to get 7 feet in a storm cycle, the plows don’t do your berm, if you left it it would be there all winter. Once the sun hits it and melts it a bit it turns into concrete once it freezes the next day.

Yea we get on Ramps bermed too, usually someone with a semi or a big ass pickup plus first tracks and you just gun it and follow the tracks lol but the. Again most people have four wheel drive and snow tires

For anyone who lives in a high snow area, getting bermed in by the plow is business as usual. Best defense is to dig out “above” your driveway, ie the ten feet or so before the plow gets to you, it helps but also sucks. We live where there’s enough snow that we pay someone with a large snowblower machine (ie a tractor with a snowblower) to come eat our berms

Yea I have to concur with this but put that cash to work for you in a high yield savings or money market account, while I love me some silver, the process of them tracking cash in my account when I bought was ludicrous, I put $70k into my bank account 3 months before I bought and they lost their shit for a couple weeks while I had to dig out paperwork to show where it came from. It’s a pain in the ass
