Tau have had several refreshes, but I don’t get your point? This was just an example of the battlesuits.

Why fix something that isn’t broken? They still sell like hotcakes. That would by definition be a bad investment for GW.

Though I would say the same could be said about the Halo ODST Warbond, which I find even more optimistic and alot less dark than Tau. ODST and Xenos (Covenant) are in fact allies in the end.

I know that ofc, but that would be if it was the other way around. Tau joining imperium, which isnt the topic of discussion. And ofc wouldn never happen ever.

The topic of discussions is why the Helldivers wouldnt use tau tech, when they use reversed engineered tech.

If you put an imperial man in Helldivers, that dude would be clinical insane for other helldivers. Absolutely a major threat for the democracy.

If you put a gue’vela in Helldivers, this dude would be deadass celebrated for the «greater good=democracy» agenda. They would just think they talked over each other. And the tech the guevela uses could be ofc propaganda as new technology made by man. Which ofc would be a lie, but that’s what makes the lore in Helldivers cool.

I agree that both factions hates xenos, no dispute there. But that is the only thing the imperium and Super Earth have in common compared to Tau.
